It's arguable whose resume is better. But because of the reasons above, I feel that Floyd's accomplishments are less impressive than Marciano's.

Rocky had considerably less media surrounding his career. He also CONSIDERABLY less quality of opponents. No one then hardly ever knew him until late in his career + the 2-3 quality fighters he beat were either over the hill or severely over the hill.

if you want to pick holes in resumes, you can do it to anyone. Floyd's resume and quality of work is far beyond,as in far far beyond, what Marciano did in his brief stint as champion. or we can go into how 70% of Rocky's resume is made out of part time fighters, bouncers and street tough guys. Not pro athletes. But i'm sure you're going to tell me they are better than world champions

You are talking about a guy who's been world champ since '98 ffs. Consistently fought top or best opponents in his division. He's clearly an ATG and has done way more in his career than Marciano.

Yeah since I've read that you think a guy who has 6-7 legit fights at top level, arguably has as good a resume as a 18 year world champion in 5 divisions, fighting everybody incl. 21 or so world champions - it's hardly worth trying to educate,because you have already spoken about something you actually know nothing about.

Yes I am a Floyd fan, which is why I pointed out their respective rankings in polls where unbiased, objective and impartial media/journalists voted. Yes i have a bias, but my choice is based on their careers. I hate SRL and don't vote Floyd above him.

Marciano always finishes well behind floyd when the voters are objective media, journalists and historians.
