Yea, the lack of information is astounding in the sport of boxing. Then again, every promoter & his team are trying to play the "he said-she said" game in order to hype/acquire bouts. That's what happens sometimes. I prefer the hard info...I'll even take straight documents or contract drafts.

Anybody who says Monroe is equal to Lara is delusional. But aside from that, Lara hasn't done anything to ensure he would get the fight with GGG. He didn't move up to 160 like he said he would. And 3 fights against 3 journeymen north of 35-years-old & a rematch that was 5 years too late is not going to help Lara's case in the matter. And you might want to call him the best 154 fighter...but, we don't know because there are 3 other champions he hasn't tried to reach out for a fight (plus Andrade, who was available before he chose Matirosyan). It's obvious Lara is running his mouth to get the biggest payday he can. But from a boxing perspective, he hasn't done anything to to improve his chance of getting the GGG fight. Agree?

Yes, and no. A duck is when a fighter from your division does not fight you. When a fighter from another division does not fight you, that's a potential bout that wasn't made. Duck is not an official boxing term, but known & used more by the boxing fans & experts. Hope that clears it up for you.

Haymon is definitely no excuse. Khan, as I mentioned, is Haymon fighter as well. So why is Lara not talking to Haymon and tell him to make the fight for him? Why is this Lara guy not doing anything other than talk? Anyone can talk. Big effing deal.

GGG haters are some of the most interesting doubters. They keep bringing up resume like it's the be-all-end-all of how to judge a boxer's career. Lol. You're too funny. Do you even realize that there are some ATG's out there who don't exactly have great resumes?...they were considered ATG's because of the way they were winning. Look at Willie Pep...the guy is considered an ATG because he made guys look foolish with his defense. Or, take the case of Tommy Hearns...he lost the majority of his biggest fights, & beat up on a bunch of no-names. But no one was thinking the guy didn't belong. GGG haters like you are always trying to stretch the truth to fit your agenda. It's unattractive, & futile. Boxing fans will see right through you.

Tell me, where were all these top boxers when GGG was still an unknown paper champion? And what does it matter now that GGG has fighters lining up to take him on? Hopkins' career didn't take off til late in his sunset years. That's a parallel to GGG. Criticize all you want. In due time, you might become a believer too.
