Lara is willing to move up, with not even a tuneup at MW. That takes a set of stones. GGG is scared of a slick boxer with a very awkward style... and you should know that.

Him and his team are attention whores since Lara is not highly regarded by the paying boxing public. Until he sends a serious offer (which he won't) his word is garbage.
oh please thats ur rebutle because a guy who is less then the b side more like the c side has not made a public offer as tho u dont know how this **** works? give me a ****ing break this is on team ggg its up to them to contact lara if they want the fight they know lara wants it hes not just saying it to say it this isnt high school ask girl to the prom. no different then ward trying send a contract or ggg trying to send a contract to canelo its pointless its up to the A side once its known the b side wants it i mean seriously u guys are kind of ridiculous

I think the truth is that Golovkin doesn't want to test himself. He wouldn't fight Andre Ward and appears to not want to fight Lara.

He'd rather face people he knows he can beat instead of people who might actually give him some trouble.

Guys, please educate yourself a little bit. Understand the facts.

          1) Monroe was a stay busy fight. Monroe purse was 250k or less. Understand that GGG fights three times a year while most top fighters fight two times. When you do that, if you have one easy fight but two fights against top10 contenders then it doesn't matter who you fought in your stay busy fight.

          2) Wade was mandatory and payed 500k.

          3) Lara brings nothing PPV wise and we assume he will ask for much more than 500k. He won't go up for GGG unless for big money and he doesn't generate it. My guess is that he's trying to get a good payday or attack one of the boxers with bigger reputation out there in order to make his name more relevant. Even Eubank jr is attacking GGG. You can assume these guys don't really want GGG.

          4) All GGG fans are saying the same. Priorities are BJS and Canelo. Then come Jacobs. Then comes Eubank Jr or Lara. We are not against the fight at all. If it depended on us we would make the fight, and then brag on your faces how GGG destroyed Lara. And I like Lara eh? kisses.

Stop talking and send over an offer. I'm sure if it's beefy enough on Haymon's side they'll make the fight. K2 made ward an offer, he made his own, they countered. At least in that situation we know there was at least real intent on fighting. It's kind of mind boggling that they won't make fights for Lara, like he's gotta make his own fights under arguably the most powerful manager/promoter in the sport. Offer Golovkin a notch higher than he would make fighting on a regular HBO telecast and there is no reason not to make the fight.

You mean like 90% of the sport unless they are trying to cash out.

Maybe he just doesn't want to risk losing? By immediately facing GGG, he'd also get to skip to the front of the line, regardless if you think he deserves it or not. If he loses to GGG, he has a built-in excuse that he wasn't ready for MW and then he'd just go back down to LMW. Lara has nothing to lose, so of course he wants the bout. It's GGG who'd look ****in ****** by losing to an unproven MW who hasn't even cleaned up LMW.

GGG right now is evaluating his options and if Lara wants to be one of them then he should send an offer.

This fight is pointless. I haven't forgotten what Angulo did to Lara. Golovkin knows how to cut of the ring, has a great jab, devastating power, and is the bigger man.

I bet you wouldn't dare bet on Lara if this fight were made.

90%? I don't know if that stat is accurate, but I do know that Golovkin fans act like he isn't a businessman and fights for legacy.

But as you admit he isn't looking to test himself against opponents that might give him some difficulties.

Lara is trying to make a name for himself, and get a big payday. But, his style is not fan-friendly, so would HBO even be interested in paying to air a fight between him & Golovkin? Meanwhile, GGG wants to unify the MW division. Would he gain anything from beating Lara? Should he accept any challenge from anyone, because those who should be willing to fight him within his division are punk asses?
