When Loeffler said "164" for Ward, GGG fans made lots of excuses, and justified it. When Oscar says "155", suddenly that's different. You can't say it's because the belt, because Canelo vacated the belt! So now what's the difference? If GGG "suddenly" goes to 168, after Ward goes to 175, will we call that a coincidence? K2 was protecting their investment, just like GBP is protecting their investment! No difference!Comment

Anyone who said Lara reminds them of Mayweather most likely have never seen anything more than highlights and are just going by reputation. Lara's not anywhere near Floyd. He has no chin, no head movement, doesn't move nearly as well and is 1/10th the offensive fighter that Floyd is.
The whole comparison is insulting.Comment

i dont see what the big deal is. ggg should just fight him for one of his stay busy fights fights when he usually fights the wades of the world no doubt more people will tune into see him fight lara then a no hope 160 guy. Not that i think lara can beat ggg but i do think he could at least make for a very intruiging fight.
Here is where **** gets kinda ridiculous tho people critique everyone who is "ducking" ggg and then u get guys like lara, ward, and brook who all wanted or still want to fight ggg and they are looked down on over it. it makes me wonder how much is ggg really being avoided cause fighters are scared or is it more money related. like u cant go around acting like ur the most avoided then when u get the best at 154 and 168 at time willing to fight then say well no thanks I was kidding id rather chase around guys who dont want to fight
That being said, I think Golovkin would take that fight and, despite the risk of Lara simply not engaging, KO Lara. Angulo is nowhere near the pressure fighter Golovkin is and has nowhere near his power. Angulo put Lara down twice at 154. At 160, no way Lara gets up from a Golovkin shot. Also, did you watch the Martirosyan fight? Vanes landed left hooks at will, pretty much. Any one of those clean shots by Golovkin, a much better boxer and way harder hitter, would have folded Lara. The only risk Lara brings to the table is the risk of the fight being boring and awful and I'm not sure Golovkin or HBO want to take that particular risk.Comment

You and the rest of the GGG fanboys can scew numbers all you want. The reality is top 10, top 5, top 2. It doesn't matter. GGG's competition absolutely sux f.ucking c.ock. And everyone he's beaten sux, I don't care what they were ranked. He's fighting in a ****ty division. And every time someone outside of that division, who can actually fight, expresses an interest in fight Gennady, people like you have 1,000,001 as to why the fight can't happen. Why it shouldn't happen. Or how the guy calling him out doesn't really want the fight. You're pathetic.Comment
