i dont see what the big deal is. ggg should just fight him for one of his stay busy fights fights when he usually fights the wades of the world no doubt more people will tune into see him fight lara then a no hope 160 guy. Not that i think lara can beat ggg but i do think he could at least make for a very intruiging fight.

Here is where **** gets kinda ridiculous tho people critique everyone who is "ducking" ggg and then u get guys like lara, ward, and brook who all wanted or still want to fight ggg and they are looked down on over it. it makes me wonder how much is ggg really being avoided cause fighters are scared or is it more money related. like u cant go around acting like ur the most avoided then when u get the best at 154 and 168 at time willing to fight then say well no thanks I was kidding id rather chase around guys who dont want to fight

In the end I don't think this will actually happen. The HBO/Haymon thing will kill it. But it would be nice to see the parties concerned actually try.

2016 vs. Vanes "160", which nobody believes. He has always weighed in mid 160s.

Golovkin's unofficial weights have been between 168 and 172 for the last 4 years. There's a 90% chance Golovkin will be 170 like he always is, and Lara will be 165 like he always is.

ibf doesnt allow rehydration over 10lbs for title fights, max GGG could weigh in the night of the fight is 170lbs. unless lara is losing 5lbs from the weigh in, i doubt it.

Canelo not ducking nobody... Lil G groupies expect him to fight Lil G @ 160 even thought he never fought at that weight before. So Nelo called K2 and Lil G bluff by vacating the belt now they have no leverage. If Lil G is serious about fighting Nelo then he'll come down to 155 lbs and accept the A side terms if not then Lil G can go kick rocks

Yet he comes in outweighing Golovkin on fight night but he's too small for 160? You can clearly tell who failed at school around here.
