      Double standards suck!

Where's the double standard, cretin? Canelo was mandated to fight Ggg and got stripped for his refusal. Where's the analogy?

I agree gggs record hasnt got any opponents that should make him credable for a top p4p ranking. But thats why he is and thats his biggest problem. If hed have signed with golden boy, they would have got ward at catchweight. Canelo at full 160 (if canelo wasnt with golden boy). Cotto etc etc. He is ranked in the top p4p because hes fought the best he can get to fight him

He should've fought Ward @ 168! That would've gave him instant credibility! Most of the great ones gained credibility by going up (like Ward is doing) and beating bigger stronger guys! GGG is now being forced to do what Oscar, Hopkins, Mayweather, Cotto, and Pacquiao have already done! Let's see how well he does it!

That's a difficult fight to predict for me. Lara reminds me of Mayweather and I am a fan of both of their styles. However; judging on Lara's last fight, it's difficult not to say that GGG would have the upper hand. Lara appears to do just enough to win and neutralizes his opponent's offense with his defense. If I was betting, I would pick Lara because he would be the underdog and I would win a lot more picking him then if I picked GGG. But picking against GGG at this point appear to be saying that I have money to throw way. As much as I would like to see this fight, Canelo is the one I want to see in the ring with GGG. Maybe Lara can get the winner of the winner wants to go that route or one of the sanctioning bodies have him as the mandatory number 1 contender. We have too many good fights going on in place of great fights. Kovalez has had some good fights, but we want to see him against Stevenson. Khan has had some good fights, but what about Brook? The list goes on. I'm a fan of Lara, but I want him to sit this one out and call on Jacobs or Kid chocolate if he wants to fight at 160 or gets some fights at 154.

                2. Lara is straight-up overrated trash. It would scare Canelo how quick GGG knocked Lara out

How anyone can sit there and defend ggg saying lara brings no money is just plain ****** when ggg is fighting pure bums in wade and Monroe.

Lara is a legit top fighter who is a 100 times better than anyone ggg ever faced. If ggg cared about legacy he would fight lara but its obvious ggg only want the money fights despite not beating a single top fighter.

Team GGG must ***** there pants when bringing up lara.
Lol yeah I'm sure he's petrified of a runner with no power

But at that point neither fighter were a big enough draw for it too feesable and looking from gggs perspective he felt there where enough fighters he could beat and gain a lot of credability from at 160. Unless your fighting in the lower weight classes its hard to move up and down weights unless your fighting at a cw

Lara looks like Mayweather from the Pac fight. Floyd fought like that because he had too. Lara fights like that no matter who he is in with. Floyd is 10 times more entertaining than Lara. I'm all for the GGG fight now if Canelo won't step up.
