People getting really emotional here for no reason. Just stating facts. Do I want to see Canelo/GGG? Sure I would, it would be a good fight. But as someone who has negotiated many contracts in his life I understand Canelo's position. He is the guy that made the sacrifices and took risky fights to get where he is. GGG has not. Canelo loses to Trout or Lara he is not the cash cow he is. GGG needs to do the same. If any of you were in his position and had any sense you would do the same thing.Plus I don't think this necessarily kills this fight, just delays it.

Good luck making that fight with Haymon but even if you jump all those political hurdles that fight doesn't make HALF of what he would of made if he just kept his promise about fighting at 154 or 168. Canelo just did 600k PPVs fighting a mismatch with Khan. He could fight anyone and still get paid 10X what GGG makes fighting bums like Wade. I'll say this slow so you and all the idiot GGG fans can hear me. GGG needs Canelo a lot more then Canelo needs GGG. That's just a fact no matter how you try to spin in. Canelo fighting on PPV while GGG's only PPV was a monster flop doing 150k.

Golovkin vs. Jacobs will do very well. It's a doable fight. If we got by your PPV numbers of 600K PPV Buys, that's WITH a big name in Khan. Whoever Canelo fights next, unless it's Pacquiao or Mayweather, is going to do significantly less than Khan.

A fight with Lemieux will be lucky to get to 400K. Especially with the backlash he's getting right now.
