Yes I do, not really for his skills in the ring which was good but the impact he made on the sport outside of the ring benefited Mayweather and Pacquiao GREATLY! Like him or NOT he created the Blue Print for Crossover Stardom in Boxing. The man BOX OFFICE and a PPV Megastar Long Before Mayweather and Pacquiao and if it wasn't for him I doubt neither of them would've become Box Office either.

He say a lot of ****** stuff now but he is a promoter now so saying ****** stuff is needed to sell fights lol

I save that honour for boxers that would rank higher than I'd rank Oscar on an all time list (not that I've actually taken the time to compile one).

Yup, this guy is pioneer for what boxing is today. Mayweather, Manny and all the rest should bow down in his presence

On the other hand he could not win Pacquiao, Hopkins, Mayweather, Mosley (twice).

Where do you put De La Hoya?
The Trinidad and Hopkins debacle forever exclude chicken de la Hoya from legend hood. End thread.

He carried the sport for many years. Of course he's a legend.
And while he did lose a lot of fights, there were some fights he was clearly robbed in. Tito fight for instance.

It's all arbitrary and like I said, I haven't actually put a list together (I never will), but I'd think the top 50 would make the cut. Not sure if I'd have Oscar that high.
