You obviously didn't watch boxing back then..

Pernell was top 5 p4p and welter champ

      Ike was prime and great

      Vargas was prime

He also outboxed a prime tito

Genero and gattI were in the mist of a hall of fame careers

Leija would be a world title champ or contender for many years

Yes. He has a top 3 resume of all time. Chavez Jr 2x, Mayweather, Pacquaio, Mosely 2x, Hopkins, Trinidad, Ruelas, Comacho, Gatti, Vargas, Hernandez, Mayorga. That is a legend's resume and he was competitive in all but one of his losses and that one was because he went down in weight way too far and was a skeleton.

          yes.

          but not anymore.

          because he did this:

I dont respect any man who wears women clothing.

I agree with you but why do you put him above Cotto? Thanks in advance.

When you combine his accomplishments, star power and impact on the game, how could he not be?

Oscar is a legend. And a Hall of Famer. I wouldn't call him an ATG, though. He racked up a lot of empty wins at 147 and above and never had that decisive career-defining victory at those weights. But he was a monster from 130-140, elite at 147 and still formidable at 154. A fine career.

I would say beating Ike, pernell and vargas at 147-154 were big career defining wins.. Had he got the decision over tito, his resume would be amazing

You can't end a statement with "Had he got the decision over tito" when you begin it touting his wins over Whitaker and Quartey. Both were highly controversial. And that's what I mean by he doesn't have a clear-cut, decisive career-defining victory.
