He's probably one of the best at 154. The problem is that they are overrating him because some pretend he would beat GGG at 160 which makes no sense at all.
Hey bro I agree with you. I'm a canelo fan but I think Lara should have won. If Lara would have gotten the W vs Paul Williams and canelo he would have been the best at 154. But since he got robbed and is considered boring. People want to sweep him under the rug.

He outclassed Austin Trout the #2 fighter in the division and technically he fought Canelo at middleweight. And that was an even fight.

        Great post.

Yes, Argentinian women like black bananas. They also like white bananas. They like bananas in general.

Lara is only slightly overrated imo. He's one of the best at LMW, just not THE best because he doesn't have the wins to prove it yet. He needs to look impressive against Vanes and actually beat him this time, then face Charlos/Andrade/Nelson. He's 2-3 fights away from the #1 spot.

You mean the hand ball red card of 1986? I only got respect for Maradona because he did coke just like Chavez Sr. that ended their careers. Pele got three World Cups. I know, that Messy dork ain't won no cup nor will he ever.

Lara has close fights to Canelo and Paul Williams which resulted in losses. Close fights with Vanes and Carlos Molina which were draws. Wins over Angulo and Trout among others. That's a lot of top JMW on his resume without being clearly beat

Lara has never impressed me and i dont get why people want to see him get his **** pushed in by GGG. Its a pointless fight against someone who doesnt even fight at 160. So why all the hype over this guy?
wow, I am 100% in agreement with Larryxxxxx on something. I should alert the media......

Not many I would pick to beat him at JWW, which is a pretty good division with some of the best young talent in boxing
I think Andrade would stop him.

Canelo hasn't fought at 154 since Trout.

Lara is at least a light middleweight who fights at 154.
But who has Lara beaten at 154?? who has he even fought worth a damn since Canelo
