Lara is a damn good fighter. His problem is he does'nt have a second gear, a plan B, and he relies on his left hand too much. He does the same thing over and over no matter how a fight is going. If the guy would just let his hands go more, he would be a real problem.

Lara doesn't actually have any fans. They just use his name to claim he would beat a fighter they dislike. When he actually fights, nobody watches.

The other half are people who hate Mayweather and think he ducked Lara for whatever reason.

Lara is a good boxer, I just do not like his style. People accuse Mayweather and Ward of running and being boring, but I'm a fan of Ward and enjoyed Mayweather's fights, well most of them. Lara just has terrible style to watch. How people think he beat Canelo is beyond me. It was only close because Canelo has slow feet and everytime he threw a punch, Lara ran across the ring. He would have ran outside if the ropes weren't in the way.

You might be mistaking the calls for a GGG fight for hype. Yes, he probably loses the fight handily, but he's expressed an interest in the fight, and would be the best win on his resume. Why not do it? He's faced worse no hopers.

How can u list 5 top SMWs... and then say in the next breath that he hasn't fought anybody? He literally fought nearly everybody worth anything in his weight class dude..
