Considering TNT is in over 100 million households (http://www.twcmedia.com/TWC/CT/Network.aspx?id=315, and considering there are only about 110 million TV households in the U.S., the difference between FOX's potential audience and TNT's potential audience is only about 10 million households.

Put more simply, FOX's viewership would be expected to be about 10% higher than TNT's, because FOX has a 10% larger viewer base.
Only a ****** would think ratings would simply be in 10% higher. TNT is cable so if you pay for cable you now have access to hundreds of channels to compete with. FOX is one of the what half dozen nationwide channels that is 100% free no cable subscription required. And they do wayyy more then 10% of ratings. again why the F UUU CK are you comparing NBA and NHL games on cable or on at sunday at noon to PBC when PBC has already gone head to head this weekend to NHL which drew 1mil more viewers and went head to head earlier this year with REGULAR SEASON games from the NBA which basically doubled the ratings they just drew??? No need to look at any other channels you fool you already have Sat prime time ratings from NHL on NBC and NBA on ABC. But clearly you are avoiding those numbers and just cherry picking bad examples from other channels and times to prop up PBC and failing at it...badly.

You might as well just stop talking you DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HELL PRIME TIME IS! LMAO

It's on the prime time charts that are released EVERY Sunday. No clue why you think it's not prime time but again click on the link it was prime time. Second call it "PBC changed strategies and moved away from afternoon cards" I call it they cancelled afternoon cards on CBS and NBC because the ratings were in the toilet. And the ratings were as much as just like College Basketball as these PBC ratings this weekend are just like NHL and NBA ratings LMAO
      1. Did FOX air PBC live on the west coast? If so, that was 5pm Pacific, which will all know isn't prime time.

      2. And these ratings sure look a lot alike. College basketball is in serious trouble.

      BOXING ON CBS
Stevenson vs. Bika 4/4: 1.1 rating, 1.5M viewers, 2.2M viewers peak
Figueroa vs. Burns 5/9: 1.0 rating, 1.3M viewers, 2.2M viewers peak
Dirrell vs. Rubio 9/6: 0.9 rating, 1.1M viewers, 1.9M viewers peak

      COLLEGE BASKETBALL ON CBS
Oklahoma at Texas on CBS, 2/27 afternoon: 1.0 rating, 1.4M viewers
LSU vs Kentucky on CBS, 3/5 afternoon: 1.1 rating, 1.6M viewers
Stanford vs Arizona on CBS, 3/5 afternoon: 0.7 rating and 982,000 viewers

Hey genius - read my original post, which I said exactly that - referring to the NHL and NBA telecasts at the same time: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...709805&page=12

In any event, only a moron would compare a run-of-the-mill boxing match between two B-level fighters who peaked in 2011 to the NHL CONFERENCE SEMIFINALS and NBA CONFERENCE SEMIFINALS. Of course NHL and NBA won...but that doesn't mean the boxing ratings are bad.

          1. The television industry defines prime time as starting at 8pm Mon-Sat and 7pm Sunday.
          2. Ortiz-Berto telecast aired from 5pm to 7pm Pacific on Saturday.
          3. Thus, Ortiz-Berto did not air in prime time on the west coast.

Not sure how to explain it in simpler terms that you'd understand.

Then why is PBC choosing B level fighters to head line Network Prime time ratings? Either way the ratings stunk whether you want to blame that on picking those fights or fans not caring about PBC or a million other factors. Either way they are bad and no where close to NBA or NHL which is what you said and already been ripped to shreds because of it and trying to pull the lowest NBA ratings you could find to say see PBC is kinda sorta close to this. Leaving out that NBA playoffs on TNT does 1.9mil viewers but NBA run of the mill means nothing Reg Season game on Network Prime time already went head to head with PBC's previous FOX card and did 3mil viewers NOT 10% higher you idiot. Playoff NBA on network Prime time can get as high as 10mil viewers. And NHL just went head to head and did 1mil more viewers just this saturday. But you want to ignore the head to head's and pull out ratings from TNT and Sunday Noon cards? Like you don't know the difference between NBC and TNT or sunday at noon to Sat Prime time. Come on now LMAO

I assume you realize that the investment in PBC represents less than 1% of the holdings of that particular fund?

And also that two prior investor lawsuits based on similar claims were immediately dismissed by the courts last year?

              • That was one of the best boxing cards all year. Shame on you for hating boxing and making a negative out of a positive.

Boxing has the worst fans of any sport and that's why it's in the position it's in.

                • Not worried about Ratings or none of that, as long as boxing is on I will WATCH! I don't give a *** if it is on Free Network TV thanks to PBC or if it is on HBO

Just admit it most of you are not boxing fans, your Groupies for 1 fighter and which ever network he fights on that is who you Praise and whatever you favorite fighter is not apart of you hate it. So that makes you a "BOXER FAN" so *** OFF! Your opinion don't mean **** because it is clear, you signed up to this forum to talk about one guy and you only watch the sport when your guy is fighting

Well the rest of the country missed out on a phenomenal card, shame on them, but I enjoyed the entire Card!

Please show me what NBA playoff games (playoffs, not Finals) on network TV have done 10 million viewers. I'm dying to know. I'll wait for you to find the info. Look real hard, genius.

Uninformed guys like you are so quick to s**t on the ratings numbers when you have zero understanding of the TV business. As someone who works in the TV industry, I know for a fact that Fox is very happy with 2M viewers (which is about what the final numbers will be) for 5pm Pacific card with no current stars going against NBA and NHL playoffs.

                      This goes without saying.

We got a guy sitting up here celebrating ratings being down. This new millennial type of fan is weird.

Can you imagine someone celebrating because Foreman vs Lyle didn't have high TV ratings in the 70's?

What has this thing of ours come too
