    3. Thus, Ortiz-Berto did not air in prime time on the west coast.

Not sure how to explain it in simpler terms that you'd understand.
Idiot are you seriously still trying to say this wasn't prime time when it's right there on the link I gave you? Just take the L.
That's a link AGAIN to the PRIME TIME ratings for Sat night and mysteriously PBC is listed there

Broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Saturday, April 30, 2016
    http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...april-30-2016/
    Premier Boxing Champions (FOX) (8-10 p.m.) 0.5/2 1.51

And here is the official press release from FOX Sports announces the launch of PBC on PRIME TIME FOX.
    http://www.foxsports.com/presspass/l...fox-broadcast-

"PBC on FOX debuts Saturday, January 23 (8:00 PM ET) with an action-packed two-hour show headlined by one of the most exciting undefeated fighters in boxing, Danny “Swift” Garcia (31-0, 18 KOs), facing former three-division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (33-3-1, 18 KOs), live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. That bout, along with others to be announced, airs on the broadcast network and in Spanish on FOX Deportes. The January 23 event is the first of three PBC cards scheduled to appear on FOX in primetime during 2016."

So Fox sports is wrong and even though they call these FOX cards prime time events and even though the ratings show up on the official prime time ratings for Sat night they are all just wrong? LMAO

    • I understand this is one of the most exciting fights in boxing history, but forget that because it didn't have high tv ratings

Boxing has the worst fans of any sport and that's why it's in the position it's in.
Mayweather/Pacquiao caused a major divide in boxing that still lives on 'til this day.

Those that are Pacquiao fans love HBO's fighters and network the fighters fight on. Those that hated Mayweather hate Showtime/PBC and the fighters on it.

People need to get out of 2009 and move on with their lives

The TV industry uses Eastern time as the standard. PBC on FOX aired at 8pm ET, so FOX refers to it as a prime time program.

I know this is real hard for you to comprehend, so I'll go slow...that does not mean it aired in prime time on the west coast.

Prime time starts at 8pm local. PBC on FOX was over at 7pm Pacific. PBC on FOX was over before west coast prime time started.

It's real simple. Stop fighting it. No amount of arguing will turn 5pm into prime time.

Uninformed guys like you are so quick to s**t on the ratings numbers when you have zero understanding of the TV business. As someone who works in the TV industry, I know for a fact that Fox is very happy with 2M viewers (which is about what the final numbers will be) for 5pm Pacific card with no current stars going against NBA and NHL playoffs.
You are tv insider but you don't even know what the Phuk prime time ratings are? GTFO and the ratings didn't do 2m viewers they got 1.5m and huge drop from the 2.3m they debuted at but you think that makes people at FOX happy? And you such a TV insider that you tried to compare primetime ratings on FOX to ratings on TNT and ratings on Sunday at Noon ignoring the fact that both NBA and NHL just went head to head with FOX's PBC. This is rich. Please keep embarrassing yourself. You can put as much syrup as you want on a turd doesn't make it pancakes.

I don't get these dudes. I love the HBO production and presentstion but there aren't enough fights. And the ones we do get are mismatches or PPV.

I don't know how anyone who enjoys boxing can be content with one garbage card every 6 weeks.

But then again, bigdunny doesn't enjoy boxing he's just an HBO network cheerleader.

this is what you said first

"First of all, last Saturday's PBC on Fox did not air in prime time. 5-7pm PT on Saturday is not prime time, so your comparisons to prime time sporting events (which typically start at 7:30pm PT) is misplaced."

Then you look ****** when I tell you it is called Prime Time ratings and I have been comparing it to other events that aired during this same "prime time" time frame. Then you tell me industry standards don't call it prime time then I show you where FOX calls it prime time and that these ratings are on the daily prime time ratings charts put out by industry standards. Now you saying well it's not prime time west coast which I don't give two F ucks about. This getting sad. How many times I got to prove you wrong. And simple as put NHL this weekend aired the same prime time head to head with PBC both started at 8pm ET and blew it out. The previous PBC on FOX card aired head to head during prime time against the NBA which got double these ratings 3m. So only an idiot would say PBC get's the same ratings as NBA or NHL. they aren't the same and pulling the lowest NBA and NHL games you can find on different networks on cable (Again FOX is not cable MR TV insider) and Noon (one of the worst time for ratings) to compare to bad ratings by PBC during prime time on sat.

Which is good for the PBC. A better rating would mean that FOX could charge more for the airtime but it was still a great night for everyone involved.
