Arum told ESPN's Dan Rafael at the time that before he left Mayweather had asked, among other things, for a $20 million guaranteed purse to fight Oscar De La Hoya.

"He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road," Arum said.

A year later, Mayweather made $25 million in a fight against De La Hoya that still holds the record for total pay per view buys.

So where did the extra money come from? Bob said it wasn't there. Did it magically appear out of nowhere?

Arum said he was simply not interested in participating in a De La Hoya-Mayweather fight, but not because of his distaste for De La Hoya.

"I don't want to, because if I did that fight, I would be working for such a small percentage, it's not worth it," he said.

The money was there. Greedy Bob. Last in the ring. First to get paid

It was ppv upside duh. That fight broke all the records unexpectedly. What was Floyd previous high, like 350k ppvs vs fan favorite Gatti?

Frampton is now with Top Rank, co-promoted by Warren, just like Fury. He's never even been with Hearn in the first place.

And Rigondeaux is with PBC now. What you should say is Haymon would steer away his top guys from Rigo.
