That's what I took it to mean as well. I didn't think he died. I had no idea chase said that. It was about the paranoia of every minute detail in life. Over analyzing everything because you're constantly holding your breathe awaiting death or a raid.

Well the way they had Bobby saying, "You probably never even see it when it happens" earlier in the season alluded to that being the case. So I agree. It would have been better if he was supposed to have died. I felt pretty robbed after seven years of watching.

Really? I thought it was great and just shows how torturous that life is. He'll never have peace. The last half of that season was incredible.

Oh I love the show and the Monopoly episode was just brilliant. Loved every second of that one. I'll always love the show but I just didn't care for the ending. I thought cutting to black was like "Sorry. That's all I'll give you." It was the end of the whole series. There is nothing more to come? Just cut to black? That's not an ending to me.

If Tony had got whacked on screen, I would have been fine with it. It's closure and tying everything up which is what endings are supposed to do. I liked the character a lot, but come on. No mob boss lives that long typically. He just has too many enemies. That would have shown guts. The ending they chose, showed nothing- literally. In the end, you should please your fans. Much akin to the latest debacle with the Walking Dead, they just didn't deliver and not one fan of the show has forgotten. I won't even watch Lost anymore because of their ending. Breaking Bad? Now I loved that ending.

I say he didn't and deserved to lose.

              Vote, discuss. Thanks.
              This question again.....really?

These forums are full of Floyd haters who are biased as ***, obviously Castillo will win these kids of polls.

The cool thing is that both of those are really great endings.

I think Chase was determined no to satisfy the bloodlust of the media in particular, who he saw as being hypocrites when it came to Tony. The fans too to an extent. Loving all his antics and then demanding he is killed before them at the end.

More importantly though I think he always intended Tony to be a mirror and he was definitely making points about the way the we all act though him. I saw some interview where Chase said the end was an extension of that. It could all go black for any of us at any time and that's worth remembering.

'Like I said before', I just made the poll because of what Kellerman said about the best of the era.

Most would think that the matter was settled with the H2H fight but I just don't accept that because Floyd was suspected of blood doping and Pacquiao was injured.

With the thread, I confirmed that I am in the majority of opinions on the fights results and that's all I wanted to know.
Ironically Kellerman scored the Castillo fight to Mayweather, 115-111. http://a.espncdn.com/boxing/columns/...x/1373403.html

And you have to take into account the bias. A lot of people will vote that Castillo won simply because they don't like Floyd. Same for the contrary, so a poll on a boxing forum (especially this one which is full of emotions) isn't the best way to judge a fight. If you took the same poll but with Mayweather vs Maidana 1, the votes would laughably be in favour of Maidana.

Without using Lederman's terrible scorecard, which rounds did Castillo actually win?

There was also Patsy's line to Gloria that "it won't be cinematic".
