I thought Castillo won that fight, but Floyd said he had a bad shoulder and went into the fight with a nagging muscle pain on his shoulder for his poor performance.

'Like I said before', I just made the poll because of what Kellerman said about the best of the era.

Most would think that the matter was settled with the H2H fight but I just don't accept that because Floyd was suspected of blood doping and Pacquiao was injured.

With the thread, I confirmed that I am in the majority of opinions on the fights results and that's all I wanted to know.
It's not that you are not here every day, it's just that you haven't been here long enough to see that every year is the same thing. But 3 years here, and 4-5 posts a day, is enough to see. So imagine me with 8 posts per day and been here almost 10 years. So I don't have to be here every day to see that there's a new Mayweather vs Castillo thread done like 5 times a year.

If this thread was truly in response to another thread about who is the best of this era Mayweather or Pacquiao and 1 fight over a decade ago proves who is the best of this era, then one can simply get fights like Torrecampo, Singsurat, Morales and Marquez 3 and 4. But specifically Torre, Sing, and Marquez 4.

However, I guess 1 close fight a long ass time ago has a lot more say in a fighters career than 4-5 losses in another fighter's career.

It's the one fight that he definitely lost IMO. Maidana came close in their first fight. I scored that a draw. Oscar was the third closes. I had Floyd winning that by 2 points or so.

According to David Chase, he did not die.

Of course, it makes me wonder what the point of the black out was...

No. The rematch was razor thin as well - a sparring match with Floyd landing the only meaningful punch throughout the entire fight in the 5th or so round. Garbage fights.

The possibility that it could end at any moment? I think the whole scene was about giving an insight into the nature of Tony's life. He could be killed at any moment.

I prefer the theory that he died myself.

I'm a follower of this site since 2007 and post a whole lot one day and not again for weeks. Check my activity if you want proof.

Back on topic though, It's as simple as this:

My opinion is stomping all over yours in the poll and that's all I care about.

(After just speed reading your post because I don't care about somebody's opinion who has threads ready to copy and paste waiting for another thread to troll.)
