What's getting boring? As far as I can see this entire forum is dedicated to rehashing the same things over and over again, and making mountains out of molehills.

That's why I browse this place. To be honest boxing fights happen so infrequently that there's really nothing new or interesting to talk about.

If this type of stuff bored you, if ANY boxing bored you, then you probably wouldn't be here. Neither would I.

      Will it though?

How many people actually talk about his defense record?

I am being a realist. I'm sure the HBO guys and certain posters on NSB will call him that, but I doubt the rest of the boxing world does.

I mean if people still hold Monzon, Robinson and Hagler above Bhop, why wouldn't they hold them above GGG? You don't get extra points because a lot of guys avoided you.

Also, and lets be clear, he could lose to Canelo, who would be the best guy he ever fought by miles. Should he lose to Canelo, what does that then say about him?

Posters are also annoyed by his willingness to go to 168 for a big money fight except the one he is most likely to lose.

WHy do these very fair criticisms bother you and other GGG fans so much?
            What are the garbage fights?

Unification with IBF champion (Lemieux) then:
Fighting IBF mandatory. If not, loses belt (see Fury's case).

            Meanwhile...

BJS -> Not ready for him, need 18 months and big money (5 millions)
Jacobs -> Exact same words than BJS.

Dude, I hesitate to respond after the thread you made the other day.

His resume is garbage. There is no debate about that. Now I agree the best guys avoid him.

Now why does it bother you when posters fairly criticize GGG?

There's a big difference when you KO no hopers
And when you KO p4p opponents like Floyd mayweather did to Hatton

Those who say Golovkin is a hype job don't put pressure on the fighters who avoid him. Instead, they say he should either drain himself down to fight smaller guys or try to bulk himself up to fight bigger guys. The reason for this is to see if he can win against better fighters, while he is in a disadvantaged physical state. They really hope he loses, so their argument that he's a hype job has teeth. Such people are haters of the man, plain and simple.

He DID duck Ward, but its obvious nobody at 160 wants to fight him.
