How many people actually talk about his defense record?

I mean if people still hold Monzon, Robinson and Hagler above Bhop, why wouldn't they hold them above GGG? You don't get extra points because a lot of guys avoided you.

Also, and lets be clear, he could lose to Canelo, who would be the best guy he ever fought by miles. Should he lose to Canelo, what does that then say about him?
Interesting. I didn't realize you guys were this deluded. I thought even GGG haters would realize that most main****** analysts see him differently than you do.

Now they could very well be wrong, of course, but you should at least admit that their opinion is more widespread than your own. That's what it means to be a realist.

      Deluded?
      Answer me this;

Do you celebrate his title defense record?
Name me all these writers and sites that celebrate his title defense record.

Wade is a mandatory to one of his belts, he didn't choose him.

It's easy for you guys to say he should move up. The fact is that SMW is a bad division to start with right now, and on top of that the elite in SMW are all with Haymon.

We can hope that Wade gives opportunity for other Haymon fighters to fight on HBO, but so far, it's been very difficult. Only people who have been able to work it out are no-names or bona-fide superstars.

His resume is garbage. There is no debate about that. Now I agree the best guys avoid him.

Now why does it bother you when posters fairly criticize GGG?
I don't have a problem with fair critics at all... I just don't see many things to critic to be honest. His resume is not very good but that's not his fault. People avoid him, period. You have former lineal champions like Martinez saying he's off the charts. You have andre ward saying it's not his fault they are avoiding him. You have the champions (BJS, interim Jacobs) saying I'm not ready, and I need big money, and so on. You have a LHW fight night weight saying that his body is not ready for 160...

There's not many things you can critic tbh... give me examples please.

See, this is what you guys don't understand.

Moving up in weight, regardless of anybody trying to say the division is a bad one, is a great achievement already. You step out of your comfort zone, fighting bigger guys, showing that your skills transcends weight.

Moving up to 168 would be a lot better than this fake "I want all the belts" garbage him and his team is spewing.

No his fans excuse him because he's so light.

His resume is partly his fault. You can't blame him for not having Martinez, canelo or cotto on his resume. But you can blame him some for not having ward and lara.

You can also criticize the willingness to go to 168 for chavez, froch and Ramirez, but only 164 for Ward. You can criticize him when he say I can go to 168 for Ramirez then come back to 160 when he claims "unification" is the goal when tougher 168lb fights are discussed.

                  Uh, no. Not even close.

I'd rather he attempt to become an undisputed unified MW champion than fight random bums at SMW. He'd get no respect, no publicity, and no decent opponents.

There are 3 fights I want Golovkin to take in next 3 yrs. Lineal MW champ (for the achievement), Ward and Kovalev. Maybe Beterbiev.

Everybody else, and that includes the whole SMW division, I could not care less about.

... you seem to have problems with "idols of boxing"... I don't.

... as about "businessmen": your boy has tune ups at $2mln per fight.

He's getting no respect now for "wanting all the belts" mantra.

If he really wanted all the belts, he wouldn't have taken the step aside money from Cotto, he wouldn't have allowed Canelo this voluntary defence.

                      Answer me this:
If Canelo vacates the belt and agrees to fight GGG, what will GGG do?

                      a. Agree to fight Canelo with no belt on the line.
                      b. Fight some guy for the WBC belt.

We both know which one he wants.
