    Am not going to sit here and defend this shit, drop the belt. Its that simple, why are thye so fixated on the WBC belt? If they feel that canelo isnt ready for 160 then drop the belt and fight at whichever weight you prefer to fight at.

      HBO is enabling Fishnets. At what point does management stop allowing this BS by forcing Canelo to fight GGG or threaten to keep him off air.

        I heard Oscar is talking about Canelo vs. Cotto 2? What are you're thoughts about that fight?

          I have no doubt the Khan fight will EASILY have over $650k buys. I doubt it does $1 million but that wouldn't surprise me. His team just needs to stop talking about GGG. Or saying he's not a MW when he has a MW belt. He should of just kept his money and not even fought for the belt. Against Cotto. It's not like he really cares about belts anyways or Lara wouldn't still have his. I'm a huge fan of Canelo but between GGG team and Canelos team they're making their fighters look bad.

              I'm not a fan of either fighter but I stand with Golovkin here. He says it's bad for boxing and I agree. He should stand firm and force Canelo to drop the belt. I think GGG moving down sets a bad precedent and these things will be the standard for any fighter with a belt and PPV numbers behind him. I would rather the standard weights were adhered to than see this fight

                Wow are Golovtard's for real? Calling Canelo a coward when he's fought a guy in Lara that Lil G doesn't have the balls to fight. Then bi*tch*ing that Canelo wants a catchweight to fight lil g but let it slide when their hero ask Andre Ward for a catchweight too, lol... I feel sorry for all you Golovtard's you idiots idolize a coward whose best victory is against a C level fighter in Martin Murray who couldn't punch himself out of a pillowcase. The dude is 34 yrs old and hasn't taken a risk in his career to show that he's great, his resume of bums speaks for itself. Don't forget dummy's lil g has been the mandatory since 2014 for the WBC championship but has taken step aside money every damn time, why feel sorry for him now. Truthfully lil g keeps saying he wants to unified the middleweight division but is willing to fight Chaves Jr, froch and now Ramirez at 168 talk about contradicting yourself, the boy is truly a joke

                  What's the biggest fight Canelo has available aside from Golovkin? He just brought a welterweight up because of his name, hoping it would help sell the fight because there's no huge fights at 154 or 155 for him either.There might be a couple of guys at 154 some boxing fans might like to see but no mega fight, not even close.

                  Golovkin is Canelos biggest money fight but he doesn't want to fight him, I don't expect the fight to happen but I do get a few laughs every day I come on here and see an article with Canelo or somebody from Golden Boy making all of these excuses trying to avoid the fight, it makes Canelo look worse by the day.

                  Canelo looks worse now than he would if he got his ass beat by Golovkin, at least people would respect that.

                    Lol.

                    HBO doesn't care anymore. Their content is slowly becoming a freak show. Constant mismatches and blowouts. That's what they're into nowadays.

                      According to the WBC rules, Golovkin can hold his ground and not agree to any catchweight due to the fact that this fight is a mandated WBC fight. Alvarez will threaten to not make the fight happen but will ultimately be stripped if he fails to honor his mandatory. If this happens, the title goes vacant and both, Alvarez and Golovkin will loose out. Alvarez will be seen as a major duck to his people. Golovkin will miss out having the best payday in his career.

                      Solution;
                      If Alvarez wants it at 154 and Golov at 160, then meet halfway. Catchweight at 157
