Who knew that Sergio Martinez's lust for money was going to make the MW lineage such a joke.

      Pretty much what Kafkod said.

Canelo's team is committing career suicide on him. He better wise up.

If Canelo doesn't JUMP at that offer I'm DONE supporting him.

That's why Cotto vacated the belt before the Canelo fight. Cotto didn't want to pay sanctioning fees, so he said **** 'em! The belt was meaningless to Cotto. He's a Hall-Of-Fame fighter, who people pay to see, and that's all that mattered. Tyson Fury vacated a belt to fight a rematch with Klitschko. Will less people attend, or watch the fight because he vacated the belt? I think not!

He's a 154 pounder who hasn't fought at that weight in 3 yrs. The irony is, there are about 4 fighters at 154 that can potentially beat Canelo such as the charlo Bros, Andrade, j rock Williams and obviously Lara. I doubt those will be high on golden boys list of opponents though. They'd probably opt for a cintron or angulo rematch or maybe they'll call out Danny Garcia or Tim Bradley.

The attendance and PPV numbers from Canelo vs. Khan will tell us if Canelo is committing career suicide. I have a feeling Canelo will be OK.

what about cotto's interview after de geale fight?

"my weight yesterday was 153.6 lbs, do you think i'm a MW? I'm not"

if you aren't why keep the belt, why don't you just move down to 154 lbs and fight canelo there?
