Shame he doesn't say the same to Golovkin. They don't want any of Golovkin, and you know it.
For thr past year or so, Jacobs has said not only is he not scared of GGG, he just wants fair money.

Has Team GGG offered him fair money or even attempted to come to the table? Of course not. You mentioning something that happened 6 years ago against Pirog as a reason to why theyre not negotiating is a slippery slope fallacy that goes without saying. Anyone thats capable of using an iota of common sense would know that.

I know what you're going to say "but Jacobs didnt call GGG out". My question to you is having to call GGG out the new standard? I ask because before i give you my list of fighters that have called GGG out, i want to establish the standard before you change the goal post again.

I'd love to see Golovkin-Linares. Better yet, Golovkin-Chocolatito.

Golovkin's stans, like their favorite fighter, are cowards.

you know damn well that since Jacobs starched Quillen that GGGs only options were the IBF mando or a unification with Canelo or Saunders. Any other fight and GGG gets stripped of the IBF belt.

Quit acting like there was actually a choice.......

There's so manny things wrong with this article.

You cant compare ggg to hagler. Hagler did whatever he had to do and accepted whatever he had to accept to make the fights. Ggg wont.

Hopkins did the same. Ggg wont do a fractuon of what thee guys did to be great.

My phones about to die so ill stop here.

Come on Cliff you know this. I expect much more fron you

              They're are called WEIGHT CLASSES

In Jacobs, Golovkin would face a 29 year old, big framed (6'1"), fast-twitch middleweight, relatively proven at the weight class, switch hitter, with pop in both hands.

Hilraious to see folks continue to act like there's no one their for Golovkin to fight (Erroll Spence Jr is just breaking into the top crust of fighters at 147, yet this author is already trying to project him up a full two weight classes, lol)
After beating Quillin Jacobs didn't even utter ggg' name.

K2 says they've approached Jacobs, and they hope that fight can happen, but Jacobs doesn't want it now.

It's easy to see why, Jacobs is just starting to get his name back. GGG would make him look like Lemieux.

He said he wanted 6 million like Quillin, that's not fair money.

Fair money is within what the fight can make, while also giving the bigger purse to the real champ.

Jacobs, like Quillin, and Suanders, have priced themselves out by asking for way more than the fact will make.

Has GGG been offered a MW fight at 158. B-hop got his that way.

But difference was, B-hop was actually fighting smaller guys. De la Hoya had a MW fight, but he stepped into ring much smaller than b-hop. Same with Trinidad.

Canelo is a MW easy, there is zero reason or need for the CW except for the weaker Canelo to try to take some power away from the stronger GGG.

CW should be used when a JRMW fights a MW, or SMW.

When two MW champs who both step in the ring around 170 something, Canelo a tad bit more than GGG, no CW is needed.

Like GGG, Hagler had already beaten several top contenders. The difference here is Marvin was 29 while Golovkin is 34. People can talk about sports science all they want, but the fact is Gennady's best physical years are behind him. If he wants to be remembered with the greats he needs to get a move on. He certainly appears to be the goods, but unless he gets a highly regarded fighter on his resume he can never be considered an ATG. And if he loses say 2 years from now people will just say he was past it. I'm sure he would fight almost anyone and it's his team and not himself that are avoiding a historical quest to chase dollar signs instead.

OK, so with two consensus top 5 P4P guys fighting two divisions north of this clown ass dude. We're gonna look two divisions south, at a welterweight prospect, for this name muf.uckaz next big fight. GGG is rapidly becoming the biggest joke I've seen in my two decades plus as a fight fan.

Of course theres a choice. There's always a choice in business.

Forget the belts. Its a joke, especially the IBF. Just look at champions like Charles Martin.

Let me ask you something. What gets GGG into the hall of fame; the belt or the fighters faced?
