Jacobs is big and can without a doubt punch. GGG can't fight Jacobs like he fought Monroe and he can't box Jacobs like he boxed Pepe lapew... GGG has never faced someone like Jacobs that possesses such power in both hands and that can box.

Since GGG showed up on the scene, Daniel Jacobs is the only #1 Ring rated MW that their team hasn't actively sought after.

They had no issues asking for bouts against Martinez, Quillin, Cotto and Canelo. Heck, they've gone out of their way to make matches no one was really clamoring for. But all of a sudden you have the next biggest fight on the horizon and all of a sudden Tom Loeffler doesn't want to attempt to engage or call Jacobs out in the media for ducking like he's done with a plethora of other fighters?

I think they see something in Jacobs that they don't like

You could be right, maybe the media need to start asking Loeffler some real questions, like Radio Raheem did to Sanchez.

Why should ggg pursue that fight
when Jacobs can force that fight easily if he wanted but you keep looking past it and put the blame on ggg team for the fight not happening.

It starting to sound like your on Jacobs promoting team cause you keep repeating the same thing in every one of ggg thread.

      That is RIDICULOUS !

No fighter HAD to be great, they dared to be.

      Ridiculous excuse-filled post.

No, not him, although if he would get active again and get a couple of Ws on his ledger that would make sense as a stay-busy fight (not from a money side).

I actually was thinking Lengen Khytrov who is Ukranian or Arif Magomedov but both are still prospects so no sense in that. You also have Sergiy Derevyanchenko - but again just a prospect.

I don't see a conspiracy here, that is just a convenient excuse.

And it does not change the fact that Loeffler turned them down in 25 minutes flat..... 25 minutes flat means that he barely even read the offer, and he certainly did not discuss it with Sanchez/Golovkin.

They turned Ward down, and said " maybe 2017 "..... despite having NOTHING else lined up, and very little chance of a meaningful fight on the horizon.

And you know as well as I do that top promoters work 2-3 fights ahead with their star guys..... and yet they wouldn't even consider putting Ward on Golovkin's dance-card, LIKE KOVALEV DID.

Kovalev/Ward will happen because Kovalev is interested in that fight..... Golovkin/Ward will not happen, because Golovkin is not interested in that fight..... he wants Ward to "wait", just like Canelo wants Golovkin to "wait".

            You know whats up.
have you been living in a cave the past 6 months when all this got hashed out, and rehashed, and rehashed again?

First off, it shouldnt even have taken 25 minutes to reject the offer. Either Loeffler didnt see the email right away, or he couldnt stop laughing for 20 minutes, and it took another 5 minutes to type the "no thanks" reply. The offer was absurd, and you know it. 50-50 a year and a half from now?? What kind of moron would even consider an "offer" like that?

As for discussing the "offer" with Sanchez, why would he do that in the first place? Sanchez is the trainer. His job is to prepare GGG for the opponent selected by the promoter and manager. Its not Sanchez decision as to what deals get made. Im quite sure Loeffler and GGGs manager are well aware of what Sanchez thinks of Ward as an opponent, but the specifics of a deal are none of Sanchez business.

and finally, as to Kovalev, of course he accepted the deal, because why not? He loses nothing. He is not giving up any mandatory positions against Canelo, or abandoning a unification track. If the Ward fight happens, great. If it doesnt, great. It doesnt negatively impact other business for Kovalev. Where on the other hand GGG would have had to give up his Canello mando position and been stripped of the IBF belt, all for the "possibility" of a Ward fight, which STILL would not have taken place yet as Ward is still in tuneup mode.

            Wise up man..........

THe poster I quoted said the only way to get a fight with GGG is to call him out in an interview. That's clearly not the case when it comes to getting a fight with GGG.
Look, you said there is a list. All you have to do is provide it. Stop all the deflecting and moving the goal posts.

              Who is on this list?

The bold is possible, but the rest of your post is just excuse-ridden.

Roc Nation's offer was rejected in 25 minutes flat..... so I agree with you, Loeffler didn't even read the offer..... he poured himself another gin, spent 15 minutes looking out his office window..... then spent 2 minutes typing up a "no thanks, maybe in 2017" reply.

I truly believe that Tom Loeffler (upon good advice) has NEVER considered putting lil'G in with Andre Ward.

No mover/spoiler will land a Golovkin fight..... Mora/Lara/Ward..... all rejected outright, none were even considered..... Gennady has been very "well managed" (protected).

And your spiel about Kovalev, is just another excuse.

Golovkin is doing NOTHING..... he is sitting in the dance-hall, by himself, ALONE..... and yet you try to make out like his dance-card is full LMAO

They did not fight Canelo, and they are highly unlikely to fight him in the near future..... and he is currently preparing to fight Dominic fkn Wade..... they are doing NOTHING..... and yet, you say that they were too busy to even discuss the situation with Ward..... LIKE KOVALEV DID?

Kovalev will fight Ward, because he actually wants that fight, unlike lil'G.

Come on man, you can do better than that.
