Cutting the ring against a longer reach opponent will be painful to do. As the op explained. Duran when he pressed on to cut the ring against bigger longer reach opponents he got tagged with stiff jabs as he entered, as do Marvin Hagler against Herns. Cutting the ring is best when you have the same reach or longer reach than your opponent, so that it nullifies your opponents will to fire those stiff jabs coz if he misses he pays with your own stiff jab.
If the opponent has longer reach than you. Chances are, cutting in going in will lead you to be peppered with stiff jabs, hence, not the right strategy when faced with a bigger lengthier reached opponent.
It's one thing to fight a smaller man, which makes it easy to cut the ring with the confidence your reach can get to him faster than he can since he has shorter reach, while if both have equal reach, cutting the ring will give both a chance to land and counter evenly. A recipe for a good fight. As Spencer was to Algieri both have almost the same reach.
That said. Saying reach is not a factor in cutting the ring properly DKSAB.

so being taller or smaller will make thing more difficult of course doesn't mean it has anything to performing the act. lol.
So only tall dudes can cut off the ring now?

I won't have to explain this. You have eyes use it.
lastly, if you really do know your boxing. You should know reach, height, weight are factors in boxing that bettors use to gauge their bets, since wait for it.. Wait for it..
It matters.

You're also completely high if you think that the main group of muscles and tendons that keep the ball of the shoulder in the socket don't have anything to do with the mechanics of throwing a hook.
Lets get this straight you are ******. You dont know what the rotator cuff is or what it does. So shut the **** up.
