1.4 is never good for network TV.
There is no defending this.
I don't understand what Haymon thinks he will accomplish by putting on cards on a bunch of different channels without any rhyme or reason. How do they expect to develop any sort of following?Comment

It's on NBC Primetime you should NOT be comparing the ratings to basic cable or premium cable ratings. NBC is NOT trying to compete with HBO. They run reruns of old shows and do these type of ratings. They finished DEAD last this weekend against it's competitors CBS, ABC and FOX. FOX did double these ratings and CBS and ABC did 3-4X these ratings. Airing new content and getting around 1mil viewers is HORRIBLE for network TV. If this were HBO which is only in 1/3 the amount of homes as NBC and if viewers were paying a subscription fee then this would be good ratings. But not for NBC and not when you depend on high ratings so you can charge more for advertisement time.
2 weeks ago FOX did not air new programming and instead aired old reruns of Rosewood and Lucifer, TV Shows. They came in dead last in the ratings but pulled a 1.2mil rating same as PBC just did. So how is spending infinitely more money and paying for the air time so you can finish dead last a good thing? Why would NBC or FOX ever pay for PBC? Today they air PBC only because PBC pays them to do it. But once PBC is out of money and that dynamic changes why pay a dime when they can get the exact same ratings for reruns of their own shows which they own the licensing to and costs practically nothing. Instead of paying the millions PBC needs to operate. These networks can pay for other content that is CHEAPER and pulls higher ratings or simply just air reruns of their own shows and get the same ratings.
Last 2 weeks NBC aired Dateline and Figure skating, and Dateline and reruns of old SNL during this same time. They got 4.6mil viewers for Dateline and 2.7mil for Figure Skating, and 4.7mil viewers for Dateline and 2.9mil for SNL. lolLast edited by bigdunny1; 04-18-2016, 09:53 AM.Comment

I'll watch a Guerrero fight ALL and EVERY day!!! He's a scrappy lil dude. It was funny as SHT seeing HIM back up the MUCH larger Thurman throughout their fight!!! He does the OPPOSITE of what you would tell a much smaller guy do against a bigger opponent. He got rocked for it but he never disappointed. He's got mad heartI said story, that cancer survivior story and him standing by his wife story people love that lovely dovey shit, cancer isnt enough if it was jacobs be a star but he isnt.
Guerrero is a beast on the ratings, People see him fight and they know win lose or draw he bringing it consistently, what other fighter can you say that about. With guerrero the public knows he coming to make it a fight. Other fighters show up and only want a fight when they can win that if not they "pure boxers" lol you dont think the public take notes of that lolComment

I'm not a huge fan of Errol, but how is it bad when over a million people tune in to see you fight? I think that's pretty good, considering he's not well known. I don't think people actually realize how many people 1.2m really is.Comment

Because avg ratings for these networks during this time is about more then 2-3X that. There are reruns of old shows that get better ratings. Do people realize how many homes NBC is in? SMHComment
