Didn't even say Ward is better P4P, we just talk about skills.

This is a boxing forum, not a dictatorship.
Is he as accurate as Rigondeaux? No. His defence as good? Nope. Better footwork? No again and better timing? Hell no.

Just what do you mean by skills?

ward's just average. he outboxed froch for 6 rounds before they fought on even terms in the last 6 roudns. not impressed since taylor, pascal, dirrell, and groves all outboxed froch for long stretches. only difference is ward knows how to slow the pace of a fight better than those guys so froch wasn't able to come on as strong as he likes to so i suppose that's a skill.

has he ever fought another actual boxer-mover like hopkins? no.(dawson was lol drained) has he ever fought a guy like pascal who likes to move around and explode with punches? no. he's fought basically the same style over and over. froch/kessler/abraham all 3 guys who don't move well at all and like to hold center ring which allows a guy like ward to move around easily and pot shot.

after kovalev outboxes and ko's ward you will still have people saying ward has more skill because guys with power can't have skill? they just can't have both its not possible lol

Footwork ain't all movement though, it's positioning as well, Ward knows how to smother his opponents up close and is no where near as susceptible to getting hit as Rigondeaux on the inside. I mean for starters, he actually knows how to fight on the inside. Ward also knows how to control his opponent's head, misdirect them and being able to tie an opponent's arm whilst working the free hand is a skill regardless of how under appreciated it is.

You just can't undermine any of these qualities because eventually Rigondeaux won't be able to move around as freely and he might end up like Calderon as a result of that.

It's not even close. AND we're comparing 39 year old Floyd to a 33 year old Ward. Floyd in his prime was close to RJJ in his prime. Plus he actually had power in his hands at the lower weights.

He has ZERO reach advantage! Its NO WAY his arms are longer than Ghost and Canelo! His arms are ALWAYS shorter than everyone he faced!

I judge based off of when they are in the ring! Ghost and Canelo's bigazz, towered over him and their arms were way longer! As I stated, Pac and JMM are the only ones he was taller than and had longer arms than!

I have never paid attention to those stats because they dont measure them every single fight! They probably measured them as soon as they turned pro! But they weigh them every fight unless the fighters opp out! Mayweather is 15lbs smaller than everyone he faces, and looks very small in the ring! They claim Floyd is taller than Ghost and Canelo, bullshiet! He never has a size advantage, or reach advantage, which is why I have him being top 3 ATG!

The disadvantages he faced being a 130lb fighter, and going up in weight to destroy men 2 times his size!
                  I assume you are trolling...

                  1) Yes, Floyd has very long arms. Longer than pretty much all the people he faced.

                  2) Floyd wasn't outweighed by 15 lbs. Just not true. In some cases 10 lbs, in some cases 5 lbs. But that's it. Floyd doesn't give the real fight night weight. He is not 150, he's more likely around 153-155 at WW and 160 when he fights at JMW.

You can't be serious... Not sure if thats sarcasm or not but you showed me one round of a fight in his 20's. It's like that one guy kept posting gifs and Manny getting a clean hit on Floyd and claim Manny never had a problem hitting Floyd. That's not gonna change my opinion on Floyd being offensively challenge compare to anyone who's have that elite status fighter.

Ward's young prime past already, we saw him in tough vs Froch, Kessler, Bika and Abraham and he won. Ward didn't have any top 10 P4P fighters to prove his skills against, he does now with Kovalev. Mayweather was the better and more flawless fighter in their primes. And I think in their early 30s Floyd was still better.
