That wasn't a lineal title, that was one of the 8 world titles he won, he won the lineal belt at 112, 126, 130 and somehow 140 by beating Hatton who didn't have any belts at the time and was KOed by Mayweather 1.5 years earlier.

But Hatton relinquished all belts and actually left the division twice to fight Collazo and Mayweather, he somehow fought Juan Lazcano for the lineal title right after the loss to Mayweather and Lazcano wasn't at the top since he was coming off a loss to Vivian Harris.

guess he was still considered the man at 140 since he beat kostya tszyu

Who are you ranking above Pacquiao & Bradley at welter before last night's fight?

Very hard to tell after Floyd Mayweather retired, none of the top welterweights put himself ahead of the others yet, Pacquiao's win tonight was good but it definitley doesn't make him the lineal welterweight right now.

Most rankings have them #1 and 2, cause they're easily the most proven. And then the lineal belt is at stake every time

There is Pacquiao and then there is Bradley, both Hall of Fame and both on most PFP lists. They're 1 & 2 TRB, there is a clear gap to what the rest have achieved.

None of the other welterweights have done enough to indisputably break clear of the pack, but those two have, in spades.

3-2 vs 3-1-1 for the supposed vacant Lineal Title that's now because vacant because the #1 has retired.

If I was Pacquaio I'd rather not claim this "Lineage"
