I've been following Golovkin's career since he first came over to the States. I was curious to see if he really was as good as his publicity and how the move would work out.

I noticed how the threads about him changed as his career progressed in the way you described.

Remember Dirk Diggler? He never showed any interest in GGG till Loeffler tried to match him with Froch. Dirk reacted to that like a husband who has been kicked out of the family home by his missus and then finds a new man living there, sleeping with his wife and trying to get the kids to start calling him Daddy.

Dirk would literally stay up all night posting hate comments in GGG threads and attacking anybody who said anything positive about him. That was crazy!

But the biggest change in Golovkin threads came after Floyd beat Manny and the flomos, without doubt the dumbest and most biased fan base in boxing, switched their attention from Manny to GGG.

Then Floyd retired, Andre Ward became Floyd Mark 2, and that made them hate Golovkin even more.
