It's a damn close fight.. but I agree, I don't see Ward winning this. It's all wrong like Fury was for Klitschko

We know how you guys come up with insane theories and wants immediately after the fight.

I don't see how Ward pulls it off, but if he does, give the man some fcukin credit. In fact, you all should kiss his ass
what if all he does is hold and headbutt? does he still get credit for winning even if he cheats? thats a pretty strange standard to have. you seem to be mad that people constantly bring up ward cheated in several of his fights in order to win. shouldn't you be mad at ward for doing the cheating not at the pepole for bringing it up?

Yep. People said a lot of great things about chad dawson before the ward fight...not so much after. In retrospect dawson wasn't near as good as some people thought he was. Looking good agaisnt 2nd tear and past prime opposition can be deceiving.

If Ward beats him any place outside of California I'll give him full credit for a great win and consider him number 1 pfp. I think Kovalev will KO Ward.
Damn, the entire state? That's a lame reason to discredit a fighter, it's not like Ward has ever needed the help of a ref to win a fight.....

No worries though the fight will probably take place in Vegas or NY.

People say Dawson was one of Ward's greatest wins.. the same Dawson who lost to Jean Pascal before Ward interesting right?

wasn't retrospect at all. a lot of people had him losing to glen johnson and he lost to pascal. even when he won he did it in lackluster 8-4 fashion over guys like tarver and pascal. kovalev dominated 4 top 5 guys in his division. not sure how his resume is weak. that's like saying ward's resume is weak.

It is one of wards best wins...but not that great imo due to dawson coming down in weight and being overrated. Sometimes you learn more about the quality of a victory by what the opponent does afterward. What else is interesting is that ward fans give ward all kinds of credit for that win where dawson moved down in weight, yet **** on ggg for not moving up to fight ward...best believe if ward had even fought ggg at 164 and lost, those same fans would have discredited it.

What you say is true...but some touted dawson as a future great with a bad work ethic. We know different now. I didn't say kovalevs resume was weak, i said it was no better than ggg's. They both have done what they're supposed to and beat who's in front of them...but imo ward has fought the better opposition. This is a defining fight for kovalev.

ward's resume is maybe slightly better than kov's but not by much. ward's done what he was supposed to and beat who was in front of him so what does that prove? ward had hometown advantage and ref advantange in all his fights where kovalev didn't. the super six was a joke. ward fought every fight in his home coutnry and most in his home town with terrible reffing in several fights where he probably shold have been dq'd. kovalev went to canada and destroyed pascal, went to america and destroyed hopkins, went to england and destroyed cleverly, and he didn't need the ref to help him. ward has more to prove. lets see if he can win a fight cleanly against a top guy.
