Once again, I said he will be a future first ballot HOF'er and one of the greatest LHWT to lace em up.
At this point, I don't care if it's for the title or not as long as they're in the ring.Fortunately with Canelo there's a mandate, so he'll have to vacate if he wants that CW, it's only right. Then if he wants to redeem himself later, Ggg will concede a reasonable CW, so not 155, more like 157. Or if he's fine being a punchline, he can camp out at 156 till Ggg has moved upLast edited by Chollo Vista; 04-06-2016, 03:44 PM.Comment

i dont know why you call him versatile, he does one thing very very well. Versatile is when you can do a lot of different things. Ward is defensively talented and he does foul a fair bit, maybe he would win just as easily without it but as of now he has fouled in a lot of his major fights... anyways i digress, the bottom line is Ward is good at what he does but he isn't versatility... if you think he is tell me what other styles he implores to suggest he is versatile or point a fight where he switched his style (or two different fights).Ward can do all that and more. Kovalev is a great fighter but ward is much more versatile and skilled. Of course kovalev can knock him out dude has ALOT of power but ward is just too good he wont just roll over like the rest of kovalevs opponents and he wont be as easy to hit.Comment

Kov has timing, a great jab and cuts off the ring damn well...I'm having a hard time seeing how Ward pulls it off. But if he does, you fcukers better give credit where it's due.
I don't wanna hear no schit like "all he does is hold, headbutt" or "He beat Kov, but what what about Beterbiev" the same night after they fight.
We know how you guys come up with insane theories and wants immediately after the fight.
I don't see how Ward pulls it off, but if he does, give the man some fcukin credit. In fact, you all should kiss his ass

Ward is versatile he can do it all. He can fight on the inside, he can fight defensively on the outside. He can mix it upi dont know why you call him versatile, he does one thing very very well. Kovalev is much more of a seek and destroy fighter than GGG.
GGG actually outboxed DL with the jab in his last fight. Since GGG burst on the scene against Proska, he has boxed a total of 63 rounds in his last 11 fights. That's 5.7 rounds per fight.
After Kovalev killed a man, the majority of Kov's fights have ended quicker than GGG's. In Kov's last 11 fights right before he burst on the scene against Campillo, Kov has boxed a total of 54 rounds. That's 4.9 rounds per fight.Comment

Their styles are similar, but ggg is a bit more flat footed than Kovalev. Once ggg doesn't respect his opponent's power or hurts them, he dispenses with the defense and walks them down. Kovalev imo, moves better, works behind his jab better and is more defensively responsible. It doesn't really matter how long their opponents last.Kovalev is much more of a seek and destroy fighter than GGG.
