Think about the race of most American boxing stars. Now think about how many Black American fighters you see on HBO. HBO has made it clear Blacks are not wanted at HBO as viewers or fighters.

Not like they dont have roy jones and bernard hopkins commentating for them.. not like Terrance Crawford and Tim Bradley havnt been their main fighters other then ggg and pacman.. Not like they overhype Luis Ortiz as the best heavyweight.. AND OH YEAH not like ANDRE WARD didnt just sign the biggest exclusive deal on their network.. not at all...

Top Rank are becoming a huge joke, from Arum making the biggest fights that could be made back then to the present where he can't even make a fight that isn't that big on a global scale but for boxing diehards this is a gem...

If this was 2013, I may believe you. But not now (unless Haymon isn't allowing ST to do it). If Arum were to actually move some of his big fights at ST, then all the more reason for them to overtake HBO.

I do agree with the Todd DuBoef comment though, but I think it's still possible now. If Les and Stephen are really blocking an Arum who genuinely wants to work with them, then who's the real problem here?

With Pacquiao on the way out, what "big fights" does Arum really have to offer, especially with Arum's relationships being toxic with basically everyone outside of the HBO orbit? I think Tim Bradley is a really good fighter, and beating Pacquiao would make him a player. Still, Arum having pissed everyone off limits what could be possible for Tim.

People don't simply "turn the other cheek" after all of the double dealings that Arum has done, especially a guy who's been as respected in the media as Les Moonves. Wanting to do good business now, simply because the fortunes are now turning on HBO, isn't going to work.

$750K is the amount Haymon gives to his top fighters fighting sparring partners. Either HBO is cheap or Haymon has destroyed boxing.

Turned out that they're getting more than what the commission declares.
