Not if they work out a deal for say Loma/Walters to be on ST. If Arum is being serious about going to ST, I think he'd consider it. Could be a way for Arum/Haymon to work together. Unless Haymon doesn't want to work with Arum and just block him out out ST and vice versa.
Lomachenko-Walters OFF because Top Rank has no leverage

I don't think Stephen Espinoza, or Les Moonves for that point, want to ever willfully get themselves into the Bob Arum business ever again, especially with the way that Arum ****ed them on the deal that they thought they had for Pacquiao (where they paid out a ton of money upfront, thinking that they could make it back over the course of their deal, only for Arum to leave them with the bag once HBO came back).
Arum can talk about "going to Showtime" all he wants; the question still stands as to why Showtime would even take that initial call.
Not to take your point and make it morbid but, if Arum dropped dead, Todd DuBoef took over, and called up Espinoza stating "hey Stephen, I've got a nice cast of solid prospects, that I believe we can build into something with some backing. what do you think?", Top Rank may have a chance.
Showtime is no longer in the position where they're simply left, only grasping at the matchups that HBO has no interest in broadcasting.Comment

If this was 2013, I may believe you. But not now (unless Haymon isn't allowing ST to do it). If Arum were to actually move some of his big fights at ST, then all the more reason for them to overtake HBO.I don't think Stephen Espinoza, or Les Moonves for that point, want to ever willfully get themselves into the Bob Arum business ever again, especially with the way that Arum ****ed them on the deal that they thought they had for Pacquiao (where they paid out a ton of money upfront, thinking that they could make it back over the course of their deal, only for Arum to leave them with the bag once HBO came back).

I do agree with the Todd DuBoef comment though, but I think it's still possible now. If Les and Stephen are really blocking an Arum who genuinely wants to work with them, then who's the real problem here?Comment

Lomo got 750K to fight a bum on the Bradley vs Rios undercard. So **** Arum, for trying to make a Walters vs Lomachenko fight, with only a mil in the pot. If Lomo gets 750 to fight a bum. Why shouldn't Walters ask for a million to fight Loma. That is Arum's fault for that ****.Comment

It's not a fair deal to Walters when Lomachenko is getting 750,000 to fight bums. Walters is not wrong to ask for a mil. Lomachenko, wouldn't be wrong to ask for a mil either since he was paid so well to fight a bum previously.Comment

quoted for inaccuracy. gullible fans need to do a better job seeing through the bullshyt. You're an idiot. Crawford just made 1.2m vs a no hoper. HBO loves him. Bradley consistently outearns anyone on PBC. Neither of these guys is half the draw that Ggg is.
The reason they like him, dummy, is he's so easy to work with: doesn't ask for more than he's worth, will fight anyone they want wherever, exciting style brings fan interest, no pouting or lawsuits. And he's also fcuking good, he can bring out the b1tch in Mexican warrior CaneloComment

They weren't worth $750K though. That was an overpay. The money they are being offered now is fair. The problem usually is that people use their previous pay as a benchmark, which is why you think guys like Stevenson, Garcia, Ward, GGG thinking they deserve a few mil or think some fights are PPV worthy.Comment
