They should boycott it if they don't wanna challenge the IBF champ
Should boxers boycott the IBF?

They have bad rankings because boxers already boycott the IBF because they don't want to be forced into tough mando's. Fighters choose what sanctioning committees they want to fight for. They know with the other belts they can negotiate their way out of a tough mando. Can't do that with the IBF.Comment

My statements were very straight forward. If you disagreed with any of them, I'm very happy to discuss it.
The problem on this site is so few have any interest in respectful or productive discussion.
No, I was not trolling. I believe the facts support my claims. If you disagree, tell us why.Comment

First off I believe the IBF is one of the en****** in boxing who've been convicted of corruption. I believe they shoulda been put outta business on that fact alone. My statements were very straight forward. If you disagreed with any of them, I'm very happy to discuss it.

Second I wouldn't know where to start with any of the alphabet groups rankings let alone the IBF. They all have nutty logic in their rankings that I see anytime I look at them & I actually keep track of them more often than I imagine most boxing fans do who even hype alphabet rankings. For the IBF, Bizier getting a title shot somehow might be the most obvious problem I see right now that I can think of off the top of my head. I have zero desire to go over bs rankings in much depth doe. Its a boring debate & futile as I can't imagine I would change your stance & you wouldn't change mine. I can't even believe its disputable that alphabet rankings are kinda bs (while still being important for boxers for obvious reasons) so I'm surprised you would even defend that.
Thirdly all these groups are in a symbiotic type relationship which supports the others & these corrupt groups are the single biggest problem in the sport of boxing today & have led to the single biggest problems in the sport which are the devaluing of what it means to be a champion & the creation of far too many weight divisions which have diluted the product. No casual sports fan is able to name all the champions. That wasn't always the case. Thats a problem for the present & future of boxing. Thats why I rarely if ever **** measure these groups against each as I 100% believe they are all part of the problem.Comment

The IBF used to be corrupt just like the others. Their president was jailed and they became subject to federal oversight.
So now they follow their rules 100%. No funny business. No preferential treatment.
When you wrote that all of the organizations are corrupt, that simply is not true. The IBF is 100% on the up and up.
You've offered absolutely nothing to support your premise that the IBF is corrupt.
Bizier is not getting a title shot as a result of corruption. Bizier is getting a title shot as a result of being one of the two best fighters willing to participate in an IBF eliminator and winning that eliminator.
Please tell us who the IBF passed over that was willing to participate in that eliminator.
You can't.
The IBF can't force people to fight for them. Because they enforce their rules, the top fighters prefer to fight for the groups that cater to them.
That doesn't mean the IBF rankings are corrupt. The IBF rankings are an honest reflection of the best fighters willing to fight for the IBF.
Your position has no merit.Comment

The IBF are the only one right now putting new people in the title matches , good look at most of the matches this year its the same champions fighting the same name guy that lost his last 2 fight
Let me guess you like watching Bute get title shot event thought his 2-3 in last 5Comment

You have no evidence to support hte statement that the IBF is clean and lacks corruption. And pointing out mandatories, and telling us you "work in the business" isn't good enough and you know it.Eff Pandas -

How is he supposed to prove corruption with no documented corruption? If you read the IBF rules you'll see they follow it by the book. It's hard to prove a negative. The IBF has had it's problems in the past and it seems like they've corrected it. Fighters are the ones who choose what sanctioning org they'll pay sanctioning fees to.Comment

If he can't prove it then he shouldn't say it so matter-of-fact-ly.How is he supposed to prove corruption with no documented corruption? Like someone already said, it becomes an inconvenience for top fighters who's desirable and lucrative fights aren't necessarily mandatories, and they often aren't.
Ideally all orgs would lack corruption. We know that sadly that isn't the case.Comment

Eff Pandas made the accusation that the IBF is corrupt. He has to prove his accusation. All available evidence suggests the IBF does not play favorites and will blatantly make decisions that are not in the IBF's best interest financially in order to follow the rules.
The IBF's policies are public, clear, and followed exactly.
You must win an eliminator to gain a #1 or #2 ranking. The IBF goes in order offering the opportunity until two fighters accept.
The IBF does not allow step aside fees. If you don't want your title shot, the next leading available contender gets the title shot instead.
No games. No nonsense.
But in a sport as corrupt as boxing, the honest organization is going to be avoided at all costs by most of the top fighters.
Which is why the IBF rankings are merely a reflection of the best IBF fighters, not necessarily the best fighters in the world.Comment
