    SMH lol
Donaire was pulling in 1 million viewers regularly. This was a high in demand unification fight.

Walters is barely pulling 1 million and Loma has never headlined. This is not a $2 million fight.

I think a half mill for both seem right considering that they are unknowns here in the states(the place where HBO will be making their money).

As far as Donaire and Rigondeaux go, well Donaire is way way bigger than Lomo and Walters, so Donaire making 1.32mill is right for fighting Rigo and Rigo making 3/4 of a mill is correct.

Walters and Lomo are unknowns so half mill for both is right considering their market value goes here in the states.

I agree, I think where Walters and Lomo are at in their respective careers that a half million each is correct.

Its about market value and both their market value here in the states is pretty much nonexistent.

          So let's get this straight.
Lomachenko has to move up for Walters. He has to wait until June for Walters. He's willing to take a paycut for Walters; apparently Loma agreed to 500k for each fighter.
So Walters gets the fight at his weight, he gets it on his own time, and he gets a career high payday. And Walters still wants to b*tch.
If Walters wants this to be a bigger fight, then both him and Loma will have to build themselves up more.
Lomachenko should just move on and stay active. Keep your 126 belt, it's obvious Top Rank wants the belt for Valdez so they are going to do anything possible to get rid-off Loma, that's pretty bogus if you ask me.
I don't know what Loma could do when he's with the manager he's with right now and he has a promoter that puts him second.

500k each way is more than fair.
I think so too, I think the problem is so many guys have been overpaid for tune ups and mismatches everybody expects to get rich if they are involved in a fight fans actually want to see.

That's called investing. Every business does it. There's nothing nefarious about what Haymon is doing.

That's why boxing is slowing down. Fighters with twelve fans want to get paid astronomical sums of money when they step up a bit.

Who would be crazy enough to invest in non profitable ventures?

If HBO closes the boxing shop, then Showtime will quickly follow. The only reason both are still in it is because the other guy still is. Boxing is not a money maker for them period.

The reality is Loma and Walters, at getting offered 1 million to share, are still overpaid when compared to the money they generate in return.

The fighters, managers etc will eventually have to face the financial reality that their sport is getting more fringe by the minute. Purses will shrink due to the economics the sport faces.
