Great fighter, great resume just like Floyd. But they both managed risk and reward once they were in position to do so.

Yeah I know. But the claim that he was ducking is eliminated by the fact that Johnson absolutely schooled him according to all viewers. The SRR vs Burley example is a lot better.

No need, you are entitlted to feel how you do. You are right that a certain business model is being copied, you are just wrong to say it started with Floyd.

Canelo isn't doing what he did because Floyd did it. he's doing it because Bob did it with Leonard and ODH and ODH is doing it now because he is a promoter.
I never said it started with Floyd. I said he perpetuated it and was the most successful person doing it.

He did it so successfully and combined with the media capabilities of today that it is much more apparent then when other fighters did it like in the SRL and Tyson eras where internet and social media had 0 influence.

          LOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

No he didn't. He was just known as the guy who got in a slug-fest with Berto.

Many casuals had and STILL have no idea who he is...............yet a million people bought that PPV.

          I wonder why that is...............?

So in other words, you don't really know why people enjoy him?

To see if his opponent could beat him, obviously.
How could anyone know this unless they asked everyone of the people that purchased his PPV's and watched his fights this question?

Dude, stop being a bitch made fag and getting upset that people like to watch Floyd.

Dude, you gotta be tough get into slugfests like that and that adds to someone's image. Guerrero beat a prime Berto (the second dude to do it) and about fight against a Mayweather who clearly looked to be on the decline when he fought Cotto. Plus, he's a southpaw. No doubt somebody like that appeared to be a challenge for Mayweather.

Instead, it was just a rehash of nearly all of Floyd's fight. Why do you think nobody is talking about that fight now? It was nothing special. It was a waste of time.

Ok, so he was the most successful. Again, you are assuming the fighters are doing this when it is in fact the promoters/managers/networks responsible for this. They have been doing it for years.

Your problem is you assume (but do not state) that fighters choose their opponents. They do not, their promoters and networks do. Floyd had a unique deal that others do not have and even he still didn't dictate who he fought completely.

You are right there is a problem, you are just pointing at the bottom instead of at the top where the decisions are made.

so my original statement was correct that the only ones who was cheated was the one who want to see him lose

                    You're so ridiculous.

A slug-fest.......... that many casuals didn't watch............. because they have no idea who those guys are............. because they rarely fought on PPV.......... and weren't promoted to full extent.

You're trying to tell me that casuals bought Mayweather V Guerrero even though most don't know who the guy is? A Million people? Base on his fight with Berto?

                    Please, just stop. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Upset? You know as well as I do why people buy Floyd's fight. He draws attention by being the villain. Everybody knows that. You yourself said that it maybe because people like boxers who attract haters (which has nothing with what he does in the ring).

Why are YOU getting all bent out of shape?
