I feel you though, elite athletes shouldnt gas....when did Manny or Floyd gas or mentally quit?
He was overrated but a good fighter never the less. Im not a fan of the submissions because it leaves to much room to quit

He gave in, unlike Holly went out like a warrior
I think theres ways of tappin, one to quit n one to admit ur loss, i think he tapped to quick, he looked afraid, he wanted out, Diaz should of stopped him with punches, but hes naturally a Jiu Jitsu so he did it off instinctLast edited by TX_BOXNG; 03-10-2016, 07:04 PM.

The fight was over before he even went for the takedown, he knew it, that's why he shot. It was a way to avoid bring ko'd. When they scrambled on the ground and he ended up on his back is when he really gave in. He didn't do anything to defend from being mounted, or try to reverse the position. Once he turned his back he knew he was getting choked out and he didn't even bother to fight the hands...the tap was quick. He was definitely tired, but i think being out-manned by diaz had a lot to do with it too. He came in overconfident and was doing well but eventually was outlasted and broken. That said, he had the capability to win that fight, just not in the way that he chose to fight it.

Yep all of his 3 losses came from submissions
