Its okay to admit you are a little biased with certain fighters...but you cant dispute his resume is lacking for all the hype so you label me a hater/....I'll be a hater as long Im being real...which I am. Rememner who guys Like Pacquaio, Mayweather, Jones, Hopkins, Kovalev, Chocolatito, Bradley had to face to even be considered great or very good? this guy knocks out average guys and people like you act like he is the second coming of Marvin Hagler

are you a true boxing fan or a casual who is a fan boy for one or two fighters?

Do you know how many threads and comments tell you how great GGG is on this site...how he is a boogeyman...HBO pumps him up.....espn pumps him...then you look at who he actually fought and its like....MEH, whats the big deal.

Name one fighter who did so little to be considered so-called on of the best in the game. His resume is on par with Keith Thurman. Is keith Thurman booleyhooed like he is the next Leonard....no!!!
The irony being, of course that there really isn't that many rabidly pro GGG threads anymore. Probably about 75% of the GGG commentary is in threads started to bash his resume or the occasional (and usually blatantly obvious) troll thread comparing him to one or other atg. Even HBO have become more muted, recognising that his resume is lagging behind his vaunted abilities. If people talking about GGG bothers you that much perhaps you should simply turn your attention elsewhere - I suspect you'd find that without any criticism to respond to GGG fans wouldn't have a great deal to talk about.

And HBO trying their best to promote one of their star fighters? This really troubles you? You may find a thicker skin useful.

        its annoying...no deeper than that.
Talking about GGG doesnt bother me at all...he is a very good fighter...its just annoying how people criticize fighters who are more proven yet annointing him like he is some ATG....He hasnt beat anyone to gain that

or p4p status for that matter

I posted a video of a guy telling his opinion, nothing more or less and they got in their feelings about it....oh well. I asked for everyones thoughts and it turned into " Oh the thread starters a hater" I didnt even leave a comment when I started the thread.

Fair enough. It was your shouty font size made me think you were bothered. And I'm not really seeing much 'annointing' going on. GGGs widely recognised as the top MW in the world, but it doesn't really go much beyond that - except in the case of one or two individuals who you'd be wasting your time with anyway.

And P4P - really - who cares? That **** is just opinion anyway - no-one can even agree on criteria for it ffs.

And you come straight back and prove that my point was correct!

You are either too dumb, or maybe just too lazy to make the effort, to process more than one simple item of information at a time.

One -Punch is one of those people you illuded to....I have a Porter thread I made today and A mcgregor thread....yet he keeps saying the same bull...."only threads you make are GGG threads" not my fault those are the only ones he is interested in. The large font was an attempt to assist him in reading the words better, maybe he is vision impaired or lacks basic comprehension skills.

I have made threads about GGG, he is a good fighter. How can you be recognized as the top middleweight when you havent beat any of the top middleweights? Thats my point. The eye test only takes you so far

I might not be from Missouri but you gotta show me how good you are. Saying someone wont fight, or is ducking blah blah doesnt give you a notch in the win column

GGG's best win is over martin Murray, a fighter who has lost to every top ten fighter he has faced or Daniel Geale, who is a former titleholder in his own right but got knocked out just the same by Cotto. Your only as good as your opposition.

Middleweight is wide-open....Canelo is the champion and GGG is arguably the number one contender. Jacobs beat Quillin, BJS beat Lee, Lee and Qullin fought a draw, Canelo BEAT Cotto who was the man......how can anyone say GGG is the best middleweight when he hasnt even proved it yet. Fault lies on him, his team and also on the othe fighters. I cant annoint him as the best if he hasnt faced the best, regardless of whose fault it is.

Did we really need some guy on the internet to tell us this. We are supposed to be the hardcore fans.

I mean GGG doesnt even know who his next opponent is.

how many times do you think you need to make the EXACT SAME POINT?

hint: youre not convincing anyone if you have to keep saying it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again

Yeah, I got GGG as top MW but I can see the argument. For me I'll happily confess it's mainly the eye test, I simply see something pretty special in the guy, but also his consistency - it's pretty rare even when fighting at the Macklin / Murray / Geale level to get the stoppage, (and rarely lose a round) every time and make it look easy. The other guys in the division seem to me pretty much of a level - with an case to have Jacobs a step ahead. Each to their own though.

Golovkin has fought and beat more top 10 middleweights than anyone else in the division? Golovkin beat top ten middleweights in: Murray, Geale, Lemieux, Macklin, Stevens, Rubio & Proksa, and outside of that some top 15 guys sprinkled in like Willie Monroe Jr and a few others.

So yes, that's head & shoulders above Canelo's one win over a blown up welterweight in Cotto (although Canelo absolutely is THE middleweight champion, absolutely no denying his claim to the throne being he is lineal champ), and Danny Jacobs win over Quillin (previously beating some top 20-40 guys after getting KO'd by Pirog).
