I don't even think people recognized Connor as a top 3 guy let alone the best. Bones Jones, Mighty Mouse, Cruz are all arguably p4p ranked higher. Jones certainly is.
Edgar beats him. A no training camp chad mendez was kicking his ass until he visibly tired. Mcgregor is not a well rounded fighter.

In boxing you can legally separate someone from their consciousness by punching them with a closed fist. So what is the difference? Choking someone out is actually harmless in the long run as long as the fight is stopped properly.

Cutting off circulation of blood to the brain or forcefully rocking someone's brain against their own skull. What sounds worse?

And its mixed martial arts. Choking someone out is an art. Go into a BJJ class and tell them they are chicken ****.

At this point I think I agree. Mostly because Edgar has a great chin and he has pretty good hands too.

I've seen some boxing matches where there's more holding than in a ballroom dance. What's your point? Is that not a chicken **** approach to a hand to hand combat sport where excessive holding is actually against the rules?

You do realize it's a fight, right?

Of course it will always be

              UFC>>Boxing

It will stay that way if all these people can show are mismatches that never lead to anything. Top fighter A wins never leads to fighting Top fighter B. It's getting worse.

If you don't think those fights arent great, you're either a troll, or really don't know what you're watching..
But you wanna hype hagler/Hearns even though hearns is competitve for about 90 seconds...
                Your bias is showing

Sonnen-silva is basically chavez-taylor of mma, except without the ref controversy...
I said show me a UFC fight that is as exciting or as enjoyable to watch as the boxing matches I mentioned and you couldnt. I didnt say it had to be that competative but there has been nothing I have seen that is close to Haggler vs Hearns in the UFC. To even suggest those fights you mentioned as a comaprison shows you are either a UFC fanboy or you no nothing about boxing. Judging from your recent posts i'm leaning to the former.

Let me know when you have a champion who won't be forgotten and beaten within a time span of 2-3 years.

Well its still going to go down to what you enjoy more. There are plenty of incredible ufc fights on youtube. I enjoy both. A great boxing fight probably slightly more.

Dont get me wrong, there has been some UFC fights that I have enjoyed but my point is that those fights are a lot less common than in boxing and not to the level that enjoy in boxing. As you said its subjective and thats just my oppinion
