GGG has no other option his opposition is a joke and becoming an unified champ outside the ring is a ****ing joke. Yeah it's taking forever, Canelo's been ducking Golivkin for a whole 3 months now. Just remember the Cotto fight took well over a year to finalize only after Alvarez conceded to Cotto.
No weight issue lol. Nice fairy tale, hope it allows you to sleep better at night. Would suck knowing your favorite guy is a ducking disgrace

some of these people are absolutely delusional. Canelo is on record, almost every other day, talking about how he's not moving away from 155 pounds and not "giving concessions to Triple-G", and yet these guys can pretend weight isn't an issue. Then on top of that, Oscar is talking about 90/10 which is an absolute joke especially considering this is a 3 belt middleweight unification fight, and these same clowns are talking about "Canelo is A-Side, lil g-string needs to accept deze terms". This is exactly what is wrong with boxing in 2016 (the worst fans on the planet).

Ward is the only fighter Golovkin would be an underdog against and would most likely lose to, I've always said that.

But Golovkin and Canelo are fighting in the same division, are both MW belt holders, and GGG is Canelo's mandatory.

          A little different.

Not really. The primary issue is the concessions that "a sides" ask from tough opponents. That they are in the same division doesn't really change anything.

While I do not think any title should be contested at a weight below the division max, I have seen it happen many times with fighters superior and bigger draws than GGG. That he may have to make concessions to get the big money fight, even if he is the mando, is not a big deal IMO.

GGG, when he is the "a side", conducts himself the same way Canelo is acting toward him. I don't see how he or his fans can whine about being treated the same way you treated others.

GGG knows how this works he threw around I'm the A side talk to try and enforce catch weight and other demands over ward. Now he is the clear B side to canelo and has to either agree or no fight. GGG making things difficult because he doesn't know his place and thinks he's a superstar and he is not canelo is.
Golovkin holding the WBC interim belt and being Canelo's mando makes all that stuff irrelevant.

He has leverage, plenty of it. That's why Oscar is finding the negotiations "complicated"

                  OK then.

157 is cool with me. Gennady is going to make you a fan of his in September.
I'm already a fan of him. I'm just not privy to his hypocritical fans. They preach one thing, and he does the other. It's bull****. He's no different than Canelo, or anyone else.

About the weight, I'd prefer 160 but 157 is more than fair. Especially if they want the fight right now. There's no way in hell Canelo is going to 160 by September. It's just not happening.

As far as the WBC strap, that's just another bargaining chip Canelo picked up in his pursuit of Cotto (which he's been trying to fight since 2013.)

It just so happened Cotto picked it up along the way and now Canelo owns it....BUT now that he DOES own it, you don't just go giving it away...it's part of his leverage now.

If I have a hand in poker that will take all your money, I'm not just gonna NOT use it for the moral fact of not wanting to send you home broke. Cmon Beer!

Funny thing is, many of the loudest ones are Floyd fanatics that were tearing into Pac daily for years for CWs 10x more excusable. No shame. Then there's the Mexican contingent. Their boxing must have fallen on some hard times if this phony is the main guy
