Bottom Line. Do you think GGG can beat Canelo at 155?

I think k it does. The purse split would be very different, for one. Canelo took a lopsided B side purse vs champ Cotto, when at worst he's an equal draw. GGG is bring 3 belts in that case not 1, and has the leverage to say fcuk you if Canelo won't budge from 155.
Lineal doesn't count for much if you drop the Wbc cause you're not big enough to go beyond 155. That lineal belt is already low on legitimacy, and that would kill any last bit of itComment

How can you possibly still regard someone as a lineal champion when he refuses to fight people at the limit of the division? So you actually think he should still be lineal champion even if he's stripped for refusing to fight at 160? Doesn't that invalidate him? You guys are trying real hard but it's just pathetic.Comment

I'm not trying to do anything.
I want the fight at 160.
I'm just being realistic and laying out the facts.
As for the Lineage, if he's still going to campaign between 155-160 and he's not been beaten then he'll still have the Lineage despite being stripped of the WBC. Do I like that fac? No. But it's still a fact none the less.Comment

How does Golovkin have leverage? It wouldn't matter if Canelo had zero belts and Golovkin had a million belts Canelo's the A side so he's making the demands here if they're ever to fight.
Golovkin's not Cotto so Canelo's not bending to Golovkin like he would Cotto.Comment

yeah but he's not being beaten because he refuses to fight guys at 160. He should not still be considered lineal just because he's beating 154 pounders at 155 and refusing to fight guys at 160. That's absurd and defeats the whole idea of a true lineal champion.I'm not trying to do anything.

Cause Canelo would want something GGG has: the 3 belts, and rep for dominance in Canelos real weight class. Or he can go back to 155-6 and wait till GGG moves up after unifying the belts and breaking Hopkins' defense record (kinda). But you'd think he's got higher aspirationsWhy would it? Canelo aint the lineal champion of ****. He beat Cotto (again another "non" middleweight) who himself was gifted the "lineal" championship from a ****ing cripple.
Canelo is literally either blowing up ww and jr/ww or draining real middleweights to fight in this completely fraudulent caneloweight division.
Not only that when he fights a junior middlweight (154) he knows he cant make that weight so he gives himself an extra pound.
**** Canelo and anybody that supports his bull****. **** all the a side / b side ****. If hes the a side he can dictate the purses, location, promotional aspects, and everything already. The whole "i'm not middle weight" lie is so freaking ridiculous it's like who does he think hes fooling.Comment
