      From the action packed fight side he was boring as can be. But from a move your feet, pot shot and counter and defensive side I guess you can say he was exciting.

      From my stand point he was neither boring or exciting.

        As he got older he tended to engage his opponents less, but if you watch his fights from 130-140 he was very explosive and exciting to watch.

                Perfection is kind of boring to most boxing fans, that is why the saying went "there is no money in being too good at boxing".

                Being too good takes the excitement out and while there are fans that appreciate stuff like that their number is always smaller than people who want to see a fight. You have to appreciate the difficulty of what he did in the ring to enjoy his work. That is advanced stuff and some fans will never like the sport on that level.

                      he was better to watch at the lower weights/ or when he was younger under the moniker pretty boy

                      cotto fight was pretty entertaining tho
