And neither canelo or khan are anywhere near oscars or pacquiao's level. in name or in skills.

I agree somewhat, I was just making a general point that "super fights" consist of names, not necessarily how competitive the fight will be.

Spinks admitted before the tyson fight that he didn't really want to fight him and did anyone believe Spinks would win? It was big because of Tyson, not Spinks.

Foreman vs Ali - one guy was so outside his prime that people think he would get killed. True greatness showed - Not a good example in my book.

hamed vs barrera ok yes fair enough.
"The Rumble In The Jungle" was a super fight.

        Trust me on that one.

Yeah I know it was a super fight in a sense. But not in the sense that people thought it was an equal match-up, which to me is a key ingredient in a true super fight.

Only way to beat khan is to stop him or be roided to the gills and even then you need some hometown cooking to get the W else he is gonna win a decision against you.
              Danny Garcia scraps.

The few die hard Khan fans that exist (and all of their alts) are some of most delusional fans on this site. There's your answer.

It's probably the most 'popular' Canelo fight that could be made, outside of Cotto rematch.

Or rather, that's not true. Nobody expected him to stoop to fighting WWs. Now that he has, a whole new world of possibilities opened up for him. Pac, Kell Brook, Danny Garcia?

So how is it a super fight?
