Why are people calling Canelo-Khan a super fight?

A super-fight to me is when you have 2 top of the world fighters, in their prime against each other without having a clear favourite in either fighter.

Khan is coming off 3-4 iffy performances and is 2 weightclasses below Canelo as well as a huge underdog.

So how is it a super fight?

Mayweather who is ATG and Pacquaio who is a ATG and Bradley who is a first ballot HOF'er ducked khan becuase the threat of defeat is real!

Canelo is the only one brave enough to willing face Khan!

Only way to beat khan is to stop him or be roided to the gills and even then you need some hometown cooking to get the W else he is gonna win a decision against you.

Khan is only 3-1 against with bookies, not exactly a huge outsider.

I've never heard it being labeled as a super fight. Yes, it's certainly a PPV event in the US and if Sky get their hands on it, a PPV event in the UK too but not all PPV events are super fights.

Literally everyone in Khan's platoon call it a super fight.

When people refer to underdogs and favourites in in relation to the betting odds.

Bookies are experts on sporting outcomes that's the basis of their business.

They dont exist to give money away. If 3-1 was way off then people would load up on Canelo and the odds would move.

This isn't the mismatch the haters are making it out to be.

no - they refer to who is likely and unlikely to win.

bookies know absolute *** all about boxing and that's the bottom line.

Besides even if he is a 3-1 underdog, that's pretty big.

                    3-1 isn't very big.

I'm suprised the odds are that short actually.

I'd expect Khan to be 6-1 at least.
