You're the one who is being naive.

You're just looking at the weights without taking into account how and why those fights got made below the divisional limit.

Cotto and Margarito both willingly negotiated catchweights to make fights with Manny who was moving up from a lower division for them.

Manny has never asked for a catchweight to defend a title against a mandatory challenger.

Sure you have an excuse for everything. Lol.

And somehow youve never heard of voluntary defenses. If GGG wanted it, he could've agreed to 155 for the first defense. Apparently K2 and Sanchez dont want it to be known that Nelo ideally is second biggest after Pac or the retired Floyd, so why not gank it from a Nelo who is supposedly not as good as GGG? Until they actually meet and its known public what Nelo and GGG agree to on the "mandatory" defense will your criticism come to life. Why GGG didn't take the belt for either the money or whatever other reason is sad.

Of course I've heard of voluntary defences, but Canelo is not making a voluntary defence against GGG, so why bring that up?

You are the one who is making dumb excuses, not me. I'm just giving you the facts.

And so what if GGG agreed to step aside for Cotto to fight Canelo?

Is he the only boxer who ever did that?

Are you trying to say he should lose his status as WBC mando for it?

Or is just that you don't have the foggiest idea what a mandatory defence even is?

Until Canelo and GGG fight and the limit is officially announced shall anybody really make a cry.

The official weight limit will be 160, the WBC already made that clear.

160 would be the sanctioned weight for the fight and the only weight they would recognise.

Nothing wrong with the 155 division man.

And for the record, Canelo is the best red-headed 155lb'er on the planet.

                    You gotta respect that

He will move up to the " anyone from 154-168 " division soon.

No wait, I remember now, they changed that division.....

Now it's the, " anyone from 159-161, except Lara " division, right ?

It would be a MW title fight, sanctioned weigh limit, 160lbs.

Golovkin could yet man up, and take that fight at 155.

Stop hating, have more faith in him.
