    1. No, he did not have DIRECT NEGOTIATIONS, which was what I have been talking about. He obviously had input throughout the process on Khan's side as Khan negotiated with GBP (which is what you are talking about), which no person here has EVER denied. So not sure why you keep bringing it up.

    2. Lol just because he didn't say it outright doesn't mean he didn't display his intentions through his actions, which was the point.

I can see for sure now you are trolling here and it's on me for falling for it.
No, you can't give up yet! This fight is still close on my scorecard.

Like I said earlier and what my original point was that Canelo-Khan was made largely in part because DLH did not deal directly with Haymon (regardless of whether or not Haymon has a small or large influence in negotiation on Khan's side. If that's the same pattern that's going to continue, sure we can see more big fights. That's not likely to happen so it probably won't result in more big fights for the time being (and that's straight from ODLH himself). And this isn't a 1 sided issue here. ODLH doesn't like Haymon and Haymon feels the same way.
All you're telling me is that Haymon was willing to do what it took to make a big fight. If it meant working through others while providing the same input, he did it. Kudos to him. Would be nice if he didn't have to but it seems his main goal is securing the best deal for his fighters. Cool.

And my original point was that regardless of that, the chances of HBO-PBC main fighters fighting isn't as likely as many are making it out to be.

          Yep, I remember.

Anyway, nice to see a Haymon main fighter squaring off against a HBO main even though it isn't likely because of umm, Haymon.

Hopefully we witness a day when some posters on here just admit they were wrong. Not even admit they were wrong but move on and deal with the reality of today.

The past should be a lesson. No, Showtime Boxing hasn't collapsed under the weight of that Mayweather/GBP deal. On the contrary, they're as good as they've been in decades.

Yes, Mayweather beat Pacquiao and the saga is over. The best fighter of the generation is Floyd, not Manny.

And no, PBC won't be folding in the next few months.

Here we have a guy in Haymon who isn't a camera whore; telling one lie today and another tomorrow. One who, whether for his own gain or not, has brought boxing back to a much larger audience than the sport has seen in eons. And is willing to put his ego aside to secure the best deal for his fighter, even if it's to the benefit of his competitor. So now these posters remain pigheaded. If past history is a harbinger, we can already begin preparing for their next excuse.

You got to remember, a lot of these posters got into boxing based off of Mayweather/Pacquiao. That's all they know. The saga is the basis for their posting existence.

Now that Mayweather/Pacquiao is over, they are mentally trained to hate everything Mayweather related. This includes (but is not limited to):

                1. Al Haymon
                2. Showtime
                3. Defense
                4. Movement
                5. "Slick" fighters (you know what that is code for)
                6. The MGM Grand
                7. Cinco De Mayo fight weekend
                8. Canelo, Guerrero, Ortiz, Berto (All of his non-Pac opponents)
                9. PBC
                10. All TMT fighters

                Every single one of them.

Yeah you're right. You can tell from the way they adamantly claim that the Morales win was a great one for Pacquiao. Little things like that show they kinda came into the sport around that time. It's silly but in time, the real boxing fans will stick and open their eyes.
