34 year old stuck in the MW wasteland and instead of chasing the big fights at 168 hes sitting down and waiting...again.

    Shame but oh well

That's why they said 50/50 money and weight would be fair.

That is absolute rubbish, you completely made that up.

i really wish canelo would act like a tru aztec ("hey, what's that on your leg? "i dunno, i think its yogurt. shut up") warrior and fight GGG at middleweight.

if not, agree to the catchweight then weigh in at 160.

put the onus on canelo to cancel the fight because the lineal middlweight champion refuses to fight a fellow middleweight champion at 160lbs.

AGREE TO THE CATCHWEIGHT THEN WEIGH IN AT 160.

if the fight is cancelled that's on canelo.

I get your theory, but if that fight was cancelled under the conditions that you propose, then Golovkin will have killed the fight by missing weight.

Popularity, will not change the fact that GGG missed the contracted weight.

50/50 money and weight were the exact words used. It's pretty clear to me why it was put in that way. Especially as one of the reasons why Loeffler rejected the offer he got from Ward was that he wanted GGG to sign in advance to fight at him at 168 for a 50/50 split.

I think Golovkin will age similarly to Juan Marquez. He hasn't taken much damage and doesn't rely on speed/athleticism. I don't believe will see much drop in his performance from now to when he turns 38.

JMM already had some wars by the time he turned 34, so his punch resistance may have dropped a bit (but he was also moving up in weight to chase money fights) but he still went on to fight close to his prime level of performance into his late 30's.

The fight should obviously take place at 160.....

And NO, that fight should not take place at 160 for the golovtard reason.....
..... which is because Gennady is cute, and because a title is on the line.

That fight should take place at 160 because catchweights are completely unnecessary, period.

But it is cute to see many of you suddenly decide to care about the integrity of boxing

And your sudden concern for the integrity of boxing would be positive and meaningful, were it not for the fact that there is close to a 100% chance that most of you would flip-flop tomorrow, if it suited Hypekin.

Where was your sudden concern for the integrity of boxing when Hypekin started making outlandish claims that he is now not prepared to stand behind.

Oh right...... " title doe "..... right ?

The WBC made it clear that the sanctioned weight for the fight would be 160lbs.

I'm sure that if GGG did agree to 155 he would try his best to make it. But if he failed, it would be Canelo on the spot, not him, unless there was some kind of financial penalty written into the contract. Even so, as long as GGG was under 160, Canelo would be under a lot of pressure to fight him instead of withdrawing.

Team Hypekin have not said one single word that alluded to that.

                      You COMPLETELY made that up.
