Stevenson-Alvarez is an interesting fight, as is Stevenson-Fonfara II, both will likely be carried on Showtime, supported by good cards.

If you want to shell out $70 to watch Alvarez-Khan (with Hopkins vs Chudinov/Sturm winner as the chief support), go ahead.
u said that khans ratings have slid since the ko and he isn't relevant and that showtime won't shed any tears for losing him and i pointed out with facts that Khan has brought better ratings on showtime than stevenson and better ratings on spike than stevenson. apples to apples. so using your theory showtime shouldn't lose any tears by letting stevenson fight kovalev on hbo, he draws weaker ratings than khan and khan is in a hotter division with bigger fights that can be made in house with haymon vs garcia, thurman, porter, brook etc than anything stevenson can be in. using your own logic you are agreeing with me.

as for your two fantasy matchups with alvarez and fonfara rematch those aren't as big as the welterweight scenarios i drew up for khan and if stevenson loses the first one which is very possible then this all crumbles for stevenson.

provide the link. not that hard.

Khan hasn't attempted to challenge himself since getting mollywhopped by Garcia and, with the way things were looking, he was lining up another soft touch before the summer.

Can we please just move on and stop bringing up this garbage? Chickenson is scared. That's the bottom line.

Look at how easy the Canelo/Khan fight got made. Both fighters want it. It's not the case in the Kovalev/Chickenson.

sure thing boss! and stevenson has only fought soft touches the last 18 months lmaoo

Stevenson-Sukhotsky averages a pathetic 323k viewers on his last showtime fight http://www.************.com/2014/12/...s-on-showtime/

a day later on the same network Khan-Alexander averages way over double the stevenson viewership despite going head to head vs hbo http://www.boxingscene.com/hbo-sho-r...lecasts--85417

stevenson-karpency averages a mediocre 581,000 viewers on Spike Tv http://www.boxingscene.com/stevenson-karpency/news/

meanwhile on Spiketv Khan-Algieri averages almost 200k more viewers on their spike fight compared to stevenson-karpency
If there's any question as to why Amir Khan remains in the running to land a plum assignment versus Floyd Mayweather, his recent ratings pull on a loaded night of sports tells the tale. The Brit's 12-round win over Chris Algieri on Friday, May 29 topped a PBC on Spike TV show that averaged 772,000 viewers over the course of the telecast. The headlining battle between former 140 lb. titlists averaged 1 million viewers on the night.

lol. keep trying to spin things all you want; Amir Khan got stopped by Danny Garcia, and has yet to commit himself to a really competitive fight since (closest thing being taking on Alexander after he'd been sitting on the shelf for a while).

No one is going to lose sleep over not seeing Amir Khan vs Josesito Lopez, especially not Showtime, which was my point. clown
