Also to claim Jones isn't a power puncher is ridiculous.. You don't put people out like Jones did without being a power puncher.
If you comprehend what I was saying is this...no one has barely won a round yet let alone beat him...that's what I mean by tested gumbo lol....not he hasn't faced anybody......and yes he has faced decent fighters...murrays,lemeuix,macklins are decent middleweights not half famers I'll give you that....when I say not been tested it translates to nobody has even made him change gear ....I hope that enlightens you

If I played devil's advocate I could easily say HBO is milking his contract to hype him up and make him a star and then he will fight better competition.

your opinion on him being ducked and mine on HBO milking his dates is all speculation

what we do know is GGG is the number one contender...holds two trinkets, and has yet to beat anyone to warrant p4p placement or the hype he recieves
GGG would jump at the chance to fight any 160 belt-holder/contender. Making it seem as if Golovkin is avoiding anyone in his weight class is less devil's advocate and more village idiot. Based on how the other "champions" have acted, GGG is clearly THE champ at MW. Whether his hype/P4P status is warranted based on his resume is debatable and I can respect the doubters who want to see him against the best first. I want to see it, too. But, based on his amateur background, his level of skill, and the way he's dominating, I'd say he's more likely a great fighter than just a bum killer. And based on the way other MW champs like Martinez, Sturm, Quillen, Cotto, Saunders, Jacobs, and Canelo have clearly avoided GGG, I'd say they're thinking the same thing.

Speculation ? canelo has to fight him by September or gets stripped and canelo is refusing 160lb mandatory ..what speculation do you want ? Canelos heart in a plate lol...saunders was offered 4 million to face golovkin and they turned it down and go watch the video on YouTube where saunders openly says he no intention of fighting golovkin...bottom line is golovkin is the best middlweight in the world and he beats everybody in that top 10... That's why he is considered the best middlweight on the planet and not speculation

Spoken like a true golovkin groupie and boxing novice. A prime roy jones would have boxed circles around him and toney was too slick as well he gets outboxed and possibly stopped late by both toney and jones. Im talking a prime jones and a toney who was not weight drained.

This will be very conflicting with the GGG fans, they like Kovalev too, but his trainer has now insulted their god/religion so it's going ot be interesting how this unfolds. I already read GGG fans insulting Kovalev. This is sad, I can't watch this war.

If everyone's afraid of him and hiding from him as you say, then move the **** up or down for better challenges. What's the point of collecting vacated, garbage belts?

Roy jones would outbox him 9-3 , 10-2 type of fight. Cant beleive some ppl are saying GGG stands a chance against prime roy. Based off of what? beating rosado ,martin murray and lemieux?

i don't know why you guys keep propitiating this myth of golovkin getting tagged a lot. In the Monroe fight Golovkin landed 49% of his punches on Monroe... do you expect a fighter to not get hit when they engage as much as golovkin does? Monroe landed a 29% of his punches based on compubox... now i don't count these myself so i dont know how accurate that is but that's pretty damn good defense against a slick southpaw with fast hands where you are the aggressor.

if you can just tell me of one guy who can land 49% of his punchs and only get hit by less than 30% against a fast southpaw then please go ahead, i'll wait.

These fantasy matchups are ******, you can't truly compare them. I don't know why everyone is trying to so hard to make a case here.
