Kovalev is absolutely special. Far more than a power puncher for sure. He's the only fighter between 160-175 I have even or slightly favor over Ward assuming Ward hasn't slipped from the layoffs. Hope nothing trips up the fight.Of course he has flaws, but there's still plenty of goofs out there who like to pretend that power is all Kovalev has. It's like power makes people ****** both ways - the people who fall in love with it, and the people who can't see past it to see there's more to it than just power. Kovalev is a "special fighter", as Max likes to say about his brothers.Comment

Can you try to keep it intelligent? It always resorts to degrading comments. Ward is one of the best fighters in the world and nothing you say on this board can change that. He likely fights in Oakland because that's where he draws the largest crowds. As a promoter, that's the smart thing to do from a business standpoint much like how Crawford normally fights in Omaha. PBC would do better to go away from Barclay's since only like 2 if their fighters are Brooklyn based.Comment

Kovalev is just too much for any of these guys. It's not even interesting fighting Ward he will destroy Ward in 5 rounds tops. They should move straight to Kovalev GGG for the P4P championship.Comment

Kovalev was in prime form. This man is scary, not like GGG or even Beterbiev. Kovalev has this anger and hatred for opponents that he channels and uses to beat them down. I think Kovalev will beat Ward over 12 rounds. Why would Ward need tune ups if he was ready? He needs them to get confidence and hype himself. I agree with the ppl saying the ref will play a big part in the Kovalev Ward fight.Comment
