I never watch postfight interviews. Just saw the Stevenson thing a min ago. Thought it was ******. Either way. During the fight tonight I wondered several times. If that's Stevenson hitting him tonight instead of Pascal, does Kovalev finish tonight on his feet?

Ward may be unbeaten since age 12 or whatever that number is, but he has not had a fight against a legitimate guy in 3 yrs. I hate to say it but he might want to think of retirement before getting the ring with that animal. Kovalev is a dangerous fighter would can box.
Did anyone else see how many times he shook up Pascal with that hammer of a jab? By the way that was a clear knock down in the early part of the fight. No doubt about it, Pascal got a hometown "slip" call on that one.. Lol!

Ward needs to hope he can clinch effectively because in a fair fight with rules in play he will get a savage beating.
I like Kov but people love to make power punchers into these unbeatable monsters when history has proven time and time again that even great punchers can be beaten.

Ward will either be in his chest, smothering his shots and landing shorts shots of his own while trying to push him back and take the leverage off of Kov's shots. That's no easy task but Ward is pretty solid defensively and his jab should help him set his own range as he probably has the most versatile jab in the sport.
