Power sells tickets but skills pay bills

Power sells tickets but skills pay bills. Kovalev will not KO Ward. A highly skilled Ward will prove that boxing remains a sweet science that has long been dominated by the most skilled. People forget that an OLD Hopkins went the distance with Kovalev. To his credit, Kovalev has a chin, so it will go the distance but the better boxer (Ward) will win—116-112, 115-113, 115-113. Ward by unanimous decision.

Kovalev isn't gonna beat Ward. Honestly, based on what I saw last night. I don't even think its gonna be that close. Especially if Kovalev doesn't hurt Ward. Kovalev is a good fighter. But Ward just on another level.

Agreed. Ward brings much more to the table. How much? This is the same Pascal who Froch beat in Pascal's prime. The Froch with a "granite chin" that Ward beat with one hand. That's what skills do. If anyone needs more examples fast forward to Ward vs Chad Dawson, who at the time was the lineal light heavyweight champion who easily beat Hopkins. The same Ward who critics say had no power— dropped Dawson early and completely destroyed him in a clinic. In both cases (Pascal and Hopkins) Ward had beaten the men (Froch and Dawson) who beat the men (Pascal and Hopkins) who Kovalev has made his name off. Proper perspective for you.

Congratulations to Sergey Kovalev on yet another stellar performance. He did what he had to do in breaking down Pascal in a very controlled, cautious and disciplined manner.

My only regret for Pascal is that he didn't get the chance to go out on his own sword. Fortunately for him though, he had a corner that was looking out for his best interest.

The fight was turning into a very one-sided affair, where he is was no longer competitive and could've risked a serious injury.

Fought a super middle in Bika and an unknown in Kareprncy...yea Stevenson is pretty much irrelevant just trying to piggy back off Kovalev. He is making more money but sadly will not be remembered. He won the wbc from Dawson who was coming off a TKO from Ward, I guess that's his biggest accomplishment lmao.
excuse excuse bro..kovalev beat a 50 year old..who was coming off 49 years of age...then he beat a pascal that was coming off no good wins...but i respect him and u understand he is good same way as stevenson..im not like you i dont care who wins..i just think that is very BS of hbo to act like that call out did not happen on their network unprompted...STEVENSON IS NOT SCARED OF HIM BRO
